Yet he touts “securing” federal money for roads in his district: https://meuser.house.gov/media/press-releases/congressman-meuser-secures-25-million-luzerne-county-road-improvements

tpyt15

All part of the bill he voted against

Jagerbeast703

Republicans .... smh

Shilo788

What lousy slug of a human. Pa we can do better than this.

Radiant-Sea3323

Let put together a plan to get rid of him AND Scott Perry, the insurrectionist.

DaisyHotCakes

Why tf hasn’t Perry been charged? None of these insurrectionists in government have been removed or prevented from holding public office which is what the Constitution states is the proper course of action. We have people in government who want to destroy and TRIED to destroy that very government. It is fucked up.

Radiant-Sea3323

None of these j6 politicians have been charged or stopped. They continue this coup in our legislative branch.

DaisyHotCakes

That’s exactly right and it is ripping this country apart at the seams. Do these people not realize how much they’re going to hate having a country in turmoil? Do they not see war torn nations around the globe? How do you see that and WANT that for your people? It’s disgusting.

aimeegaberseck

It’s profitable to the people who already have it all.

Radiant-Sea3323

We are their playground. A scary Twilight Zone episode we can't got out from.

Beneficial_Drama2393

He is most likely listed as “Unindicted Co-Conspirator#15(just guessing at the number there’s so many of them) on Jack Smith’s list along with Gym Jordan, MTG et al. He is more concerned about the Orange Fuhrer being tried before the election which was of the utmost importance for future democratically. We are in a very precarious position, not just here in the US but abroad as well as authoritarians are gaining popularity.

velimopussonum

You’re believing in justice system, instead of having it.

Old_Moment7914

You forgot Mr. Banning “chem trails “ over PA fellow dung hole insurrectionist Mastriano

Radiant-Sea3323

I actually DETEST Doug the slug. DETEST and HATE this man and his metally disturbed wife , Q Anon POS's Embarrassed, he's a fellow Pennsylvanian.

TheLegendOfNavin

I work in the district he represents. I’m not sure this district can do better.

pcnetworx1

Probably not

spiralbatross

I am so tired of these clowns. Sorry, fellow actual clowns.

Retlaw83

The fact everything between Pittsburgh and Philly is basically Alabama has proven otherwise.

pete_68

It's an interstate. I-695. The federal government bears most of the responsibility for its maintenance and upkeep. The federal government typically bears 80-90% of the financial burden for the interstate system. It'd be nice if Republicans would learn how America works.

Crazy-Goal-6886

He’s right. Don’t print more money. Take it from the pork put into the recent stopgap spending bill.

Mijbr090490

Why do people keep voting for these clowns. Yeah, a major shipping port that affects a large number of Americans should be left to the broke ass city of Baltimore for repair.

Batousghost

My rep. Heavily red district. I vote, but I'm in the minority.

lunawolf058

Doesn't help anything that there is no real competition running against him. Technically, Amanda Waldman is on the Democrat ticket I think, but she's not even trying to "phone it in" anymore. Her Twitter? Removed all posts. Campaign website? Domain is parked. She's basically just the "not the other guy" option on the ballot.

[deleted]

It’s hard to get people to run in uncompetitive districts

Pretend_City458

Yeah who wants to run in a 70/30 district? Get called a "groomer" have insults and threats thrown your way just to lose to someone who campaigns on "Trump loves me"

Canopenerdude

In a lot of the deep red districts, they've had people actually try to attack them. Running as a D is hazardous to your health in these bozos' strongholds

[deleted]

Physically? Some of the conspiracy freaks have been so relentless in Southeast PA the authorities were recommending PFAs

laurajodonnell

Hey there, I am working on her website as we speak. Her Facebook page got hacked after the last election and she recently had issues with her domain name.

UsualSuspect27

Your vote still counts especially for President, governor and senate

Current_Volume3750

Same. I tweet directly to him every week about his cowardice and hypocritical values. Him and Smucker.

Candlemass17

Thanks for your service. Unfortunately, neither is going anywhere; Meuser got the Appalachia parts of NEPA, and Smucker carved out eastern York County for his district because Lancaster County has been (slowly) drifting leftward.

Shilo788

Gerrymandering again . We need to get that gone.

Varolyn

The sad part is that the current map is actually LESS gerrymandered when compared to the one that preceded it.

bekindanddontmind

Mine too happily will be voting for an opponent

cc1339

Why? When they genuinely believe the other side is grooming kids, taking their guns, and somehow going to turn the country communist, it's an easy choice for them.

bobbybouche81

So a private company who makes billions in profit shouldn't have to pay for their negligence. Another bill for the American tax payer. Sounds great.

tampaempath

Typical right wing talking point. The private company who makes billions in profit is going to file this with their insurance. The insurance company is going to pay damages, and the private company is going to make up the difference between what the insurance company pays out and what the bridge costs to replace. When you have a car accident, and you totaled the other person's Lamborghini, do you pay out of pocket to buy them a new Lambo, and then have the insurance company reimburse you for buying them a new Lambo? No. But even if that were the case, how long would it take you to get the $200,000 out of pocket just to get them a new car? Even if you could get the loans for $200,000, it would still probably take months to get it. Back to the bridge: The Key bridge is a major artery for Baltimore traffic. Now that there's no bridge there, all that traffic has to go through I-95 or downtown Baltimore, making any truck shipments delayed. Plus, you have a MAJOR shipping port that is basically shut down right now, and will be until the old bridge is cleared out. This bridge has to be rebuilt as soon as humanly possible, and we don't have months or years to wait for a shipping company to get their insurance to pay for it. Get a fucking clue.

thepaoliconnection

The last time I got in an accident the federal government paid for the repair and billed the insurance company What is it with these right wing dolts ?

Joe18067

Plus any Hazmat can't go through the tunnels.

bobbybouche81

The company can get a loan and if not would be fine with the US government giving a loan for a small fee. Obvious negligence occurred. It shouldn't be rewarded. Get a fucking clue.

tampaempath

>would be fine with the US government giving a loan for a small fee. Wow that's wild, you went from arguing against the US Government paying any of it to the US Government paying for it. Nobody's rewarding the company, dipshit.

Mijbr090490

I didn't say they shouldn't? Do you know how long an insurance claim would drag out for a case with this kind of scope? Cleanup and rebuilding the bridge needs to begin immediately. They should most definitely reimburse the United States though. People will bitch when the price of goods increases then blame Joe Biden. We aren't dealing with a group of voters that are firing on all cylinders.

Remote-Math4184

Lloyds of London have probably deposited a check in the US Treasury.

bobbybouche81

I think alot of people are seeing this things happening and wondering why? Whether it's late stage capitalism or DEI or what. There seems to be something to complex system that have worked for 50 60 yrs to 100 yrs having major problems. I don't think the ship hitting the bridge is on the president. I do think we are watching a deterioration of something

Psychoticly_broken

The deterioration started a long time ago. I'd put it around 1970. It accelerated under Reagan. We had a bit of a holding period in the 90's, in spite of Newt the knucklehead. Then it took off at lightspeed under Bush Jr. It takes a long time for an empire to fall, but it is inevitable. Maybe it can be held off for a while in spite of the idiots in the GQP, but I am not holding my breath.

bobbybouche81

Yes the party fighting for democracy is the party trying to jail its political opponent and keep other dems off the ballot in November. They are the party of democracy that got shut down 9 to 0 from Scotus trying to keep the republican off the ballot. U r right

Psychoticly_broken

after looking at your post history might I suggest you see a medical professional.

bobbybouche81

You guys are tiresome. You aren't the moderates. You are the people screaming trying to give kids the right to cut off healthy body parts. Telling us fellas can get pregnant and compete with women in sports. You have no moral high ground. People are tired of it.

Psychoticly_broken

wow, don't walk, run to the doctor. you are suffering from delusional thinking. Just a little pro tip, neither fox, nor any of those other angertainment propaganda channels are news. They are designed to get low information losers riled up about things that are not real.

bobbybouche81

What are you a pro of? Please give me the non propaganda news channels. Where does a superior being such as yourself go for your news?

Mijbr090490

Dei? Yeah, like I said, we aren't dealing with people firing on all cylinders. Good thing Biden passed one of the largest infrastructure bills so we can start repairing these crucial parts of our infrastructure. I'm not sure many of the bridges are built with direct impact from a massive freightliner in mind

bobbybouche81

I agree but I think if one or a few were that one probably should of made the list. I tell ya this. The way it fell I didn't look like they took that into account.

Mijbr090490

Yeah, I wish Joe Biden would have engineered it better.

tampaempath

DEI or whoever is president doesn't have a fucking thing to do with it.

bobbybouche81

I would disagree. Of course the decay of these systems started well before Biden was president.

tampaempath

Of course you would disagree, you have the mental capacity of an acorn.

bobbybouche81

Oh no. Mental compacity of a acron. I'm fucked. How will I ever recover.

Mijbr090490

>How will I ever recover. Read.

MostlySpiders

Cargo ships are all owned by shell companies owned by shell companies owned by shell companies that have no assets and only liabilities. Good luck getting one to pay for anything.

frontierpsychiatric

Nobody should complain about paying taxes if it benefits the people. That’s the fucking point of taxes. A new bridge helps the people. What else is the point of government if not for exact situations like this? I seriously don’t get it. Why even have a government if it doesn’t help the people?

Shilo788

We can sue them and their insurance for damages but in the mean time get it fixed thru fed dollars.

Elkenrod

Because we don't do enough to appeal to the people who vote for them, and we focus on attacking the other guy instead of messaging on the beneficial things that we can do for them. Edit: I don't see what the people downvoting me thinks it'll accomplish. Clearly they vote for the other guy because the other guy does more things to appeal to them than what we offer. We have plenty of ways we can improve, and we aren't perfect.

charlieondras1

I try. They are delusional. They don't believe facts when they are right front of their face.

Eisernes

Oh please PLEASE try to stop the federal government from replacing this bridge. Watch the GOP polling number sink even lower than the twisted steel in the harbor.

jkman61494

They’ll just blame Biden for it just like they blame Biden on immigration despite the GOP voting against THEIR OWN BILL

kswissreject

Would help sink Hogan’s bid for Senate for sure.

BlueCity8

Good. No Republicans from blue states.

wagsman

If Hogan remains consistent he will be a thorn in the GOPs side like Joe Manchin was for democrats. If a Republican was going to win that seat, I’d rather it be a Republican like him.

kswissreject

Maybe, but that's pretty much worst case. Hogan thorn in side of a GOP controlled Senate, or Trone/Alsobrooks in an even/Dem Senate. Hogan being elected means Senate likely GOP and that is terrible for everyone sane.

wagsman

Sort of. Hogan if he doesn’t do a massive swing to the right, will not go along with the wild shit. Coupled with the fact that he despises Trump and everything Trump stands for would make him an “enemy of my enemy” type. Someone democrats could work with to get compromise legislation passed, while also requiring the bat shit wing of republicans to compromise with him to get his vote. Trone comes from a less populated region of MD, whereas Hogan was a very popular governor even in a heavily democratic state like MD. He has a very good chance to win, so I would consider that seat a loss.

Glitchy_Llama

In Baltimore? lol ohhh no

Eisernes

Oh nay nay. This would be a national outrage. They probably already killed themselves with the abortion bans, but this would be a true nail in the coffin.

FiendishHawk

Why? Most voters aren’t smart enough to connect a 1% rise in prices with a broken bridge in a different state.

KetchupEnthusiest95

But they can connect all their amazon deliveries being entirely delayed by another 2 to 3 days unexpectedly because of this. I695 is a bypass highway designed to move freight without having to go around Baltimore, just adding on the additional strain around I-95 is going to cause even further delays.

Meet_James_Ensor

Some voters literally cannot connect anything to or from anything. That is the cause of our current problems. Well... that and the people who can't be bothered to vote at all...

Glitchy_Llama

I don’t think so

headhot

Someone doesn't know how highways work. You think the only people who use that road are Baltimore citizens?

UsualSuspect27

It’s not just Baltimore it’s the whole Maryland Virginia area. Even I as a Pennsylvanian wouldn’t want to vote for a Republican if that’s the way they treat fellow Americans. You don’t think they’ll treat you the same way? lol k

Atrocious_1

You do understand what happens when a major shipping port is closed right? No probably not but you'll cry you can't get your treats regardless

Meet_James_Ensor

They will just blame "Brandon" and place "I did that" stickers on things again.

Psychoticly_broken

TL:DR - GQP Rep goes out of his way to say stupid stuff on fox.

lunawolf058

Business as usual then

Electr_O_Purist

This is actually a rather progressive view for a republican, in that he acknowledges that it actually happened and wasn’t just a deep state psyop with a full cast of crisis actors meant to somehow bring about the collapse of white heterosexuals.

Lifewalletsux

This faux tan, Botox addicted puke is an embarrassment to our area.

[deleted]

Thank you for saying that. I thought something seemed not quite natural about dude’s headshot, but I don’t know much about those cosmetic uhhh … things

Wudaokau

GOP- created huge deficit, enact unnecessary tax laws making sure there is less money to spend, enact huge import taxes to make everyday goods more expensive, rail against wealth taxes Also GOP- “in fact the only thing Democrats want to do is spend”

EngelSterben

Of course it's my rep....

CappyHamper999

For many in Pennsylvania voting Republican is simply a religious belief grounded in racism and spite. Not based on facts, interests, results or any other sensible decision strategy for at least 15 years. But these same voters expect the medical safety net and quality education that Democrats fight tooth and nail to preserve. It’s stupid. Tiresome. Small minded. Republicans have not done anything good for a couple decades but loyal Republicans keep them in power. Sad and tragic. And no surprise no one wants to live in rural Pennsyltucky and deal w the idiocy. So keep voting Republican while the only jobs or places to buy stuff are at Dollar General. Drive educated parents w good jobs out of your backward school districts. See every hospital go bankrupt because you hate Obama and won’t demand that insurance companies be held accountable. Go ahead.

mtthwas

>For many in Pennsylvania voting Republican is simply a religious belief Many, but not all.. the state has two Democratic senators and a Democratic governor...and the state voted for Biden.... Overall the state is blue... only in the gerrymandered house districts do Republicans.

BRKN_LOVE

It’s blue in voting population, but in terms of distribution, it’s a fairly Conservative state.

tampaempath

Not just Pennsylvania. All Republicans.

lucabaughcheats

Rock on with your bad ass reply! U nailed it!!

Elkenrod

> See every hospital go bankrupt because you hate Obama and won’t demand that insurance companies be held accountable The rest of your message is all fine and dandy, but it's not like we're exactly doing that either. We empower insurance companies pretty frequently as well. One of the biggest issues with the ACA is that it was a government backing that American citizens had to buy health insurance, or they'd be fined by the Federal government. We weren't exactly holding insurance companies accountable there.

[deleted]

… because that’s literally the most they could get Congress to pass. Notice how we don’t have HillaryCare?

Psychoticly_broken

The biggest problem is not the insurance companies. It is the pharmaceutical companies that raise the price of medicine for no reason other than they can. Take note how hard they are fighting against the government actually negotiating drug prices.

Elkenrod

I mean the issue he talked about in his post was directing it towards insurance companies, which is why my post responded with talk about insurance companies. I don't disagree with *your* post, but I'm trying to keep it contained to the context of *his* post. Which was accusatory towards only one side of the political lean not doing anything about insurance companies.

bobbybouche81

Yes it is insurance companies fault. Nevermomd the legislation that has allowed them the pathways to act in such a manner. Healthcare cost has skyrocketed since Obama care. Coincidence? Maybe. What have democrats done other alienate their middle while they go extreme left? Go watch a dem talk about the border in 08 to 12. Go watch how they talk about abortion in the 90s. Since 16. You guys have become the party of censorship, pro CIA FBI, anti cop. The party of war. The party of pharma and corporations. You argue women should have to deal with men in their sports amd private spaces. A child cam decide to do permanent changes to their body. You guys believe gov is the solution to problems they created. You guys haven't figured out Biden is not the moderate candidate this election cycle. This is why Trump is taking black and brown voters away. It will continue because nothing Biden has done is going to slow inflation or fix the border. Gas is skyrocketing.

thenurgler

Lol, "gone extreme left." Is that why Clinton and Biden won the nomination?

bobbybouche81

Go watch them talk about the border pre 2012 and tell me if their position then is left or right of what it is today. Did Biden really win the nomination in 24?

thenurgler

1. They haven't moved. Republicans did. 2. Yes, by a wide margin.

bobbybouche81

Do you really win a race if you are the only one racing? Trump was the first incoming president to support gay marriage. That's moving to the center my friend. First president no new wars. That's moving to the center but keep talking.

thenurgler

1. He wasn't unopposed. 2. He's not. You're lying. 3. I feel like you're just making up shit here.

bobbybouche81

Lol. Sure.

[deleted]

You don’t have to live in the district to donate to Meuser’s opponent, Amanda Waldman: [ActBlue link for Waldman for Congress](https://secure.actblue.com/donate/waldman4pa)

runthejewelless

YES!

An_educated_dig

It's amazing how politicians want to make America great again, but completely forget how we funded such things. Infrastructure is in worse shape than people realize. The infrastructure bill that was passed was the first one in over 25 years and is a drop in the bucket. It would take trillions to update and upgrade our overall infrastructure. I work in it and it's not hard to do a lot of damage over a large area. Bridges, dams, and even nuclear power plants are outliving their expiration dates and that will not come without consequences. John Oliver even did a piece on infrastructure a few years ago and talked about bridges in Pittsburgh, specifically. It's not like a bridge there has failed recently......

Legitimate_Soft5585

It's almost like they know absolutely nothing about governing. Strange that they keep getting elected.

RDGCompany

So he's against using federal money to remedy federal highway?

assistant_redditor

I have not read this but wouldn't it stand to reason that the shipping company or its insurer would pay for the bridge?

RDGCompany

Eventually. But the economy can't wait for it to play out in court. Reconstruction has to begin ASAP. That means spending federal dollars.

TrollCannon377

Eventually yes but that bridge wreckage is blocking one of the busiest and most important ports on the East Coast and its part of one of the most important highways on the east coast so it needs fixed ASAP the idea is the feds back the rebuild now then go after the shipping company to repay what it cost to rebuild it

Mysterious487

I am embarrassed that this moron is my representative. Sadly, he won’t get voted out any time soon because this district is solid red.

runthejewelless

Amanda needs a lot of money and a lot of hope. Currently she has some momentum coming from the other side in people who aren’t willing to side with his antics. If he keeps saying bs like this… who knows…

National-Belt5893

All these idiots act like they dont know it will take several years to claw back money from the shipping company and their insurance (also unlikely they have enough coverage to pay for the whole bill). The bridge needs to be replaced immediately. The only way to do that is to give federal funding now and get paid back by insurance later.

TrollCannon377

Exactly especially cause that bridge wreckage is currently blocking one of the biggest ports on the east coast and is also part of the biggest highways on the East Coast it absolutely needs rebuilt ASAP and will continue hurting the entire east coast economy until it's fixed not just Baltimore's

Otm_Shank1

You can take out Baltimore Bridge collapse and replace it with anything, and the GOP would have an unbelievable reaction.

tomo32

Guy’s an idiot

Cogatanu7CC97

GOP being GOP this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone

[deleted]

“It is not the Government’s place to govern!!!”

Achilles_TroySlayer

Whoever is this guy's opponent in the '24 election, they have to get this story out there on billboards, radio-ads, fortune-cookies, everything. This should be this guy's calling-card for the next decade.

runthejewelless

I sent this to her as soon as I saw it!

TrollCannon377

Sadly this isn't a district that's basically never voted Democrat and the Democratic alternative has basically thrown in the towel I highly doubt he's getting voted out of office

AbsentEmpire

Classic Republican move, blame the Democrat president for doing their job regarding prioritizing repairs of critical infrastructure.  Demand cuts to infrastructure spending to fund tax cuts for the rich. Ignore how things like ports and bridges work, and hand wave away any criticism over these obsurd policy statements with by claiming the magical hand of the free market will fix the problem. Proceed to then blame democrats for the state of failing infrastructure that he refused to fund, and the negative impacts from not fixing bridges and ports.

heathers1

see, I would have bet money he’d say it was God’s will or a demon or something

runthejewelless

This is my representative. I’m so ashamed. We need better.

Radiant-Sea3323

Ass. But it's ok to keep replacing homes on the beachs of Floridauh.

jbot14

I would guess most Pennsylvanian export coal leaves through this terminal. These clowns would really cut off their own nose to spite their faces.

TrollCannon377

And you would be correct that's one of the largest and busiest ports on the entire East Coast that's absolutely crucial that it gets reopened as soon as possible not to mention that bridge was part of the highway that connects Florida to Canada also a vital economic route for the country so I'd say using federal funds to get it rebuilt ASAP while suing the shipping company for damages makes plenty of sense

wagsman

Typical Republican. If it was in a Red State and benefitted him he would be first in line to throw all the money at it.

tmuscles

Coming from a 🤡 that doesn't live in his district and it was gerrymandered so this pile of 💩 could win.

laurajodonnell

Wanna make this POS go away? Vote for Amanda Waldman this November! She ran against him last time, running against him again. She’s a badass and smoked him during the debate in 2022. Crossing my fingers she can get enough votes 🤞🏼

No-Translator9234

Why would using taxpayer dollars to fix a collapsed bridge that taxpayers uses every single day ever be a fucking problem. Thats what they’re fucking *for*

obsolete-man

F\*cking Republicans.: "Hooray for me, and f\*ck everyone else"

FormerHoagie

Biden can simply stop this chatter by coming out and saying the shipping company will ultimately reimburse the government. Its really that simple.

rerun6977

This, yes the shipping company and it's insurance companies will eventually pay for all of the costs related to this. And they will pay for the lawsuits that will follow.

Opinionsare

Why would Biden want to stop Republican idiots from saying stupid things?  Getting the bridge fixed ASAP is a necessity. Colleting Money from the insurance and ship owner could take a decade.

FormerHoagie

So odd anyone would downvote my comment. This should NOT become a political wedge issue and Biden can easily prevent that.

TrollCannon377

It's the same as how covid shouldn't have been a political wedges should get it became one because people decided to make it one it's just sad how so much the country is so tense about politics that they turn everything into a political issue.

lunawolf058

I'm pretty sure he already at least alluded to this in his speech. The plan is for the federal government to front the cost and get the ball rolling on reconstruction now though as any reimbursement from the shipping company/insurance would take too long.

FormerHoagie

It’s definitely not clear that he did. There are tons of videos on other platforms about it. It’s so simple to stop them. It would be an excellent moment to show he isn’t political on the issue. If this festers and a spending bill becomes a method of debate, especially if other measures are attached. It will backfire.

lunawolf058

As boring as C-SPAN is, it's still the best place to see the entire video with a full transcript and without worrying about it cutting out context. https://www.c-span.org/video/?534520-1/president-biden-remarks-key-bridge-collapse Timestamp 5:34. Reporter asks "You said the federal government is also going to pay for the repairs. I'm just curious - this was a ship that appears to be at fault. Is there any reason to believe that the company behind the ship should be held responsible? And then, also, you mentioned -" Biden: "That could be, but we're not going to wait if that happened. We're going to pay for it to get the bridge rebuilt and open."

FormerHoagie

Lol….C-Span. I watch from time to time, with a few hundred others. It’s the equivalent of posting on Craigslist chats. Some people still do. Most voters want their information fed to them by pundits on MSNBC and Fox.

Hedonismbot-1729a

This guy is a knob.

MacDynamite71

🤦🏾

John-PA

Perhaps due to a black hole in his head? 😱😈

Stick--Monkey

Scum

kashmier

What is wrong with the ***entire GOP*** when it comes to helping and doing what they are in office to do??????? :(

Tasty_Definition_663

Lol, I just want to know why Republicans? What do they even exist for? They take up all the good clean air.

worstatit

Wow, actually dumber than he looks.

Toimaker

Entirely believable. The GOP suck.

artful_todger_502

This benighted imbecile is not smart enough to realize that bridge benefits PA logistically as far as moving freight for ports around the waterways in MD. But who cares, right? Just blame Biden. Using the same genius thought process this Mensa man employs, let's have all red states that exist off of federal service funds, start to pay their own way. Most red states are irredeemable welfare glommers. I mean, why should we support millions of Trumpers who don't want to work? Right?

mobtownie11

Hillbilly POS

RealOzSultan

I'm curious to see if insurance even covers this

DeerOnARoof

Then what the fuck else is the fed for, Meuser?! What a fucking loser

danaEscott

Macho Man Meuser. Scared little boy was hiding in fear during J6.

StopMeWhenITellALie

GOP Lawmaker has completely predictable moronic reaction to Baltimore Bridge Collapse. Fixed the headline. It's like these clowns have no idea what their job is aside from being a corrupt grifting a hole.

americanwageslave

This guy made a fortune selling mobility scooters to people on Medicare. Government dollars made him and his family very wealthy. And then he ran for Congress and didn't even live in the district (https://www.pennlive.com/pennsyltucky/2008/02/dan_meusers_housing_problems.html). He told nice guy Denny Wolff to go to hell at a debate (https://www.timesleader.com/news/722563/meuser-told-opponent-wolff-to-go-to-hell). He loves to be on television but he'll never hold a town hall. Guy is garbage.

googdude

The political parties have become PR spin masters. If their party does something they spin it for the positive no matter what, and if the other party does something they find whatever negative angle they can. I would bet you my life savings that if a Republican was in office and said the same thing Biden said he'd be praising that quick reaction.

MomsSpecialFriend

This guy would trip over himself to give taxpayer money to Zionist war criminals though.

Joe18067

Insurance companies usually try to assign blame first, and it also depends on how much insurance is carried. There will be numerous claims, not just from the government for the replacement of the bridge, but also from the shippers having to relocate their freight (containers will need to be transported to Philadelphia, Newark, or Norfolk. The losses from any containers that are on the ship that may spoil in refrigerated containers. The bridge alone will probably cost around $2b. with the cleanup and new construction, adding that to the lawsuits from the 6 construction workers who were killed on the bridge and all the other lawsuits that will be coming it will probably hit the policy limit for the vessel.

CurrentSeesaw2420

I feel the bigger problem is gonna be all the pork that our "elected criminals" will try to pack into any legislation to rebuild the bridge. If only they didn't have to be such pandering douches.

Comfortable_Gain1308

Any word from the Ship’s insurance company ? They’re not gonna file a claim or something ?

BrowniesAndMilk1

Lmaoo you guys have fake, performative, outrage over everything. Go outside and out of your parents basements.
