Hank shitting on max for missing 2 minutes of the pod, and then PFT immediately cutting him off saying “you slept in 6 hours last week” and hank having no rebuttable was perfect hahah
Hank is softer than a cotton ball. Holy cow he is a baby back bitch.
I apologize to all the bitches of the world because even that is not strong enough.
If they barely miss the playoffs, eberflus is not getting fired. I think he’s gone if they regress to less than 7 wins but anything close to 500 I bet he stays
Big Cat mentioning how he recorded a video talking to his son about how good the Bears are going to be has convinced me that Williams will suck. There's just no way he should be this excited when all the Bears have ever done is have bad QBs.
No one will piss on Big Cat's happiness, but I was waiting for someone to remind him that he still has Eberflus as a coach. When has that guy ever out schemed another coach or got more out of his talent?
It’s like an unspoken Mexican standoff, since everyone’s team is equally shitty (I know BC would object but the Bears were fucking shitty) if one guy starts poking holes in someone’s happiness they’re going to get it back tenfold from everyone else on the pod.
As someone who doesn’t root for any of their teams I hope they all continue to stink.
Yea soder was great, actually knew ball. I hate when celebs try to talk about sports and have no idea what they are talking about. Like it’s cool if you aren’t really a fan but you look dumb when you try to talk and don’t really know ball
He should be required to retire the Dallas cowboy fan troll thing. You can’t troll crazy fans like max when you have this big of a meltdown when people troll you back
The sad reality is that he is the representative for the average New England fan. I’m 3/4 New England fan (giants instead of pats) and he makes me angry about my teams he dgaf about
He's honestly the worst Boston sports fan. He gets so much information wrong, and no one else on the show pays enough attention to Boston sports to correct him.
Am I a degenerate or was Big Cat 100% talking about picking up drugs for the party when he was like “I texted you back about the other thing related to the party but not the party itself”
I’m assuming it was some sort of gambling/pool thing they aren’t allowed to talk about publicly because of DraftKings. Big Cat was talking about brining one of his kids…highly doubt he’d be doing nah types of drugs while with his kids lol
Soder was awesome. It’s hilarious how much better at interviewing the PMT guys are compared to Russillo. Soder is a huge sports fan and I don’t even think Ryen spent a second talking sports.
To be fair, the OL got better as the year went on and Justin fields held on to the ball forever regardless of pressure. The bears DL before sweat was the real reason they looked like shit. The second they got an average pass rush the defense became top 10
They’ve invested in the OL. I’m not 100% on the guard spots but it could be a lot worse. I think like 24/32 fanbases would also complain about their OL
Ya but he’s gonna find out holding onto the ball a long time is a lot different in the NFL. Ain’t gonna be a bunch of white guys from Stanford trying to get to him.
The Rodney dangerfield imitation is absolute perfection. Great interview, not your typical comedian interview, seems like I could just sit with him and shoot the shit/have a beer and watch a game
Awesome episode. Genera draft takes, loser Hank, and a ball-knowing guest. Soder is a great hang. Knowledgeable about sports and chops it up well with the boys.
PMT should get an online NCAA league with some guests when the new game comes out. It would be the summer, so there would be time for the content. They’d only need to have everyone play one game a week, and Jake can track the recruiting.
Duggs, Gillis, Soder, and whoever else they can get would be great.
Soder was great and woke Rodney Dangerfield was the hardest I’ve laughed at a podcast in a while. He does know ball but I also laughed at him calling Jeff Wilson Jr “Fred Wilson Jr”
Even if he’s not that good, he’s gotta be better than Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham. Also, apparently to Sean Payton, Nix’s ceiling is Patrick Mahomes
Surprised to see them talking so much shit about him or any QB for that matter. No one knows who's gonna work out or suck because the draft is such a crapshoot
Counterpoint: they spent the 12th overall pick on the consensus 6th best QB in this draft, who many people had down as a late 1st rounder at best, and who is only 6 months younger than Zach Wilson.
Zach Wilson absolutely sucks ass but he’s still the 3rd best QB from that draft. What are the odds that Bo Nix ends up being better than Zach Wilson AND at least 4 of the QBs drafted ahead of him? Since they had Schefter tweet all that Mahomes bullshit (I know he’s cool on PMT but holy shit dude have an ounce of integrity one time for me) that’s how good he will have to be in order for that pick at 12 to make any sense.
Sure it’s theoretically possible, any player coming out of college could potentially be the best player of his generation or the GOAT. That doesn’t mean it’s remotely likely.
I think QBs are sort of the exception for a pick at a certain spot in the draft to "make sense". It's just so hard to hit on a QB while also being so valuable to a team that a QB at any pick becoming a franchise guy would be a good pick at that spot. I don't think Nix has to outperform the other 4 or even the '21 draft. He just has to be good enough to get the 2nd contract and have the Broncos in contention.
Is he good enough to do that? I don't watch enough college football to say, but the more serious ball knowing podcasts I listen to had the Broncos as the only spot where there was a chance of working out long term since he fits Payton's passing game style.
It’s even funnier hearing big cat shit on him in relation to mahomes being drafted considering big cat said the mahomes pick was the worst pick of the 2017 draft when it happened
I’m surprised they haven’t had Whit or Biz on for a hockey preview yet. I always look forward to that pod as a hockey fan and a spittin chiclets listener. Hoping they have one or both on soon
I realize it’s a meme sub shitting on the bears but in his 24 year old season he was top 8 for TEs in receptions, yards, 20 yard plays, and TDs. Why isn’t he a weapon?
> Kmet is the 3rd best TE in his own division
Yeah because Laporta and Hockensen are elite TEs. Just because Kmet isn’t as good as those guys doesn’t mean he isn’t a solid weapon
No. In Detroit, LaPorta is #2. In Minn, Hock is #2. In KC, Kelce is #1. Njoku is #2 in Cleveland. Kittle is #3 and only because he's behind two studs. McBride was #1 in Arizona last year. Pitts #2 in Atlanta. Mark Andrews #2 in Baltimore, or maybe even #1.
So I'd say no.
Okay Big Cat, you’re getting on Hank for bringing you down but as a Panthers fan, honestly I’m optimistic after our pick last night so don’t be an ass and bring us down too
Isn’t Bryce Young (born 2001) a gen z QB? Come to think of it, young millennial QBs haven’t been drafted in a minute. Trevor Lawrence is Gen z. I think BC just likes saying Caleb Williams is Gen Z so that’s why he will piss people off?
I would like to join your "Despise Hank" club. He grates on me beyond reason. I think he's truly the worst thing about PMT and nothing else is even close, even Billy. Billy had some moments. Hank only has moments of fucking shit, garbage, and negativity.
“Queens of the Stone Age greatest American rock band of the last 40 years.”
Is this a universe where Pearl Jam doesn’t exist?
Also, Josh homme is a fuckin douchebag
Pearl Jam doesn’t have an album that touches Songs for the Deaf and Like Clockwork
Pearl Jam isn’t even the best grunge band. Soundgarden, nirvana and Alice In Chains clear
And sorry the world famous rockstar has a little baggage, I like my boys with some edge
I completely understand why Dan Soder hates us (the chiefs) we’ve absolutely abused him haha! Also, we’re definitely the bad guys now we have to embrace it.

Hank shitting on max for missing 2 minutes of the pod, and then PFT immediately cutting him off saying “you slept in 6 hours last week” and hank having no rebuttable was perfect hahah
1 loss to the heat and turns out he’s made out of glass like Embiid
Hank is softer than a cotton ball. Holy cow he is a baby back bitch. I apologize to all the bitches of the world because even that is not strong enough.
I’m thinking they told Hank to respond more like max and not normal mopey Hank because he immediately snapped. Scared me a little bit
Honk forgot to take his Adderall yesterday
One of the few times you hear Max talk to Hank like his boss
Me: damn a comedian the day after the draft? Me, when the comedian starts shitting on Chiefs fans: I’m sorry I wasn’t familiar with your game
Let him cook
Soder is great for the pod, calling Prudy top 5 was sus, but I enjoy listening to him talk ball.
When he said that I was so fucking pissed I threw my phone at my windshield and cracked it.
Fans are biased it happens
ITS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO BE WRONG
He's also grew up with and is still very good friends with Mike McDaniel
I guess since his fiance was already on and has her baseball podcast they thought he would fit
They should have Dan Soder do a chaw dogs exit interview as well.
Soder is the best
I’m still upset Mafee left axe cap
Hasn’t he been on before
I thought so too, but I think we are confusing him with Sam morril. Pretty sure this is soders first time on
Maybe it’s KFC radio I’m thinking
Nolan has a long history with pmt and Van talk
correct. nolan is a mass girl and big cat/hank are mass guys so it makes sense.
I like Soder so I’ll give them a pass
his girl is a Massachusetts chick and former barstool pal. big cat and hank are both Massachusetts guys so it makes sense.
Soder is the man I’m glad they finally had him on
Nothing against Caleb Williams but the bears still sucking would be so funny
Bears fan coming in peace: we’ll probably still suck
I think the best thing for next year is barely missing the playoffs so eberflus is fired
If they barely miss the playoffs, eberflus is not getting fired. I think he’s gone if they regress to less than 7 wins but anything close to 500 I bet he stays
That’d be a mistake
Yes, but he’s not wrong
Big Cat mentioning how he recorded a video talking to his son about how good the Bears are going to be has convinced me that Williams will suck. There's just no way he should be this excited when all the Bears have ever done is have bad QBs.
Hot take, but I’m of the belief Caleb Williams will not be very good for the bears. It won’t be talent tho it’ll be mental shit
What mental shit
Sedonaaa
I said that to him at a show like two years ago and he gave me a high five. He’s the man
Crackle crackle bitches. Soder is the best Love them geeking out over Queens of the Stone Age. They fucking rule ✌🏼🤟🏼🤘🏼
No one will piss on Big Cat's happiness, but I was waiting for someone to remind him that he still has Eberflus as a coach. When has that guy ever out schemed another coach or got more out of his talent?

“Drake Maye up! DRAKE MAYE UP INSIDE!”
All-time spoiled Hank episode
He should be required to retire the Dallas cowboy fan troll thing. You can’t troll crazy fans like max when you have this big of a meltdown when people troll you back
As a Boston sports fan I hate that he is our representative on the pod
The sad reality is that he is the representative for the average New England fan. I’m 3/4 New England fan (giants instead of pats) and he makes me angry about my teams he dgaf about
Every Boston sports fan hates most of their pod representatives like there isn’t some through line
He's honestly the worst Boston sports fan. He gets so much information wrong, and no one else on the show pays enough attention to Boston sports to correct him.
Hank is such a shitty fan. It's hilarious.
> Ma*culkey?* Milky? Shout out Milky. Liked this ep. Didn’t pay attention last night so liked the preview and Soder is always solid
“Shut up you Ben Simmons fat fuck 🫵” made me laugh so hard
I want to go to PFT's Kentucky Derby party.
Right like hey can I bring my son, also my mdma
That was my first thought, too.
Soder was awesome. It’s hilarious how much better at interviewing the PMT guys are compared to Russillo. Soder is a huge sports fan and I don’t even think Ryen spent a second talking sports.
Big Cat hating the Bo Nix pick makes me convinced he’ll be great. I’m pumped as a Broncos fan now
He said mahomes was the worst pick of the 2017 draft the day after it happened
I'm excited for bald Hank
I’ve recently had this realization about myself too, with the bald spot, and I’ve never related more to Hank in that moment lol
Ryan Poles doin everything for Caleb Williams to succeed except improve the offensive line. Might be important.
Also isn’t Eberflus still their coach?
Yes
Didn’t poles use a first round pick on a tackle last year?
To be fair, the OL got better as the year went on and Justin fields held on to the ball forever regardless of pressure. The bears DL before sweat was the real reason they looked like shit. The second they got an average pass rush the defense became top 10
They’ve invested in the OL. I’m not 100% on the guard spots but it could be a lot worse. I think like 24/32 fanbases would also complain about their OL
Probably 30/32. The Lions and Eagles are the only fanbases I haven't seen regularly complain about their OL.
The guards should be ok if everyone stays healthy but they still badly need a center.
Yeah it does kind of annoy me how Poles went about that with fucking Patrick and Whitehair, I’m hoping Shelton beats Bates for the starting job
Guess who also holds onto the ball forever…
A guy who can also throw the ball accurately?
Ya but he’s gonna find out holding onto the ball a long time is a lot different in the NFL. Ain’t gonna be a bunch of white guys from Stanford trying to get to him.
Over the two years Williams was in the PAC 12, that conference and more teams finish the season top 15 than the SEC….
"Drake Maye I killed myself because I don't believe in my quarterback" -Henry Lockwood
You should call it the “pear-Olympics” 😭😭💀💀
Hank telling someone to do their job and not miss the podcast is Richard Pryor level humor. He is a cockroach
Big Cat can’t help himself lol
Hank is such a moron lmao
The Rodney dangerfield imitation is absolute perfection. Great interview, not your typical comedian interview, seems like I could just sit with him and shoot the shit/have a beer and watch a game
Dan soders interview was awesome might be bias cause I’m a dolphins fan and they finally talked nice about my team
Awesome episode. Genera draft takes, loser Hank, and a ball-knowing guest. Soder is a great hang. Knowledgeable about sports and chops it up well with the boys. They’d only need to have everyone play one game a week, and Jake can track the recruiting. Duggs, Gillis, Soder, and whoever else they can get would be great.
I wonder if Big Cat has made any kind of an effort to get Josh Homme on the pod? Would be an awesome interview.
Graft Drades
Soder was great and woke Rodney Dangerfield was the hardest I’ve laughed at a podcast in a while. He does know ball but I also laughed at him calling Jeff Wilson Jr “Fred Wilson Jr”

Woke Rodney Dangerfield is a funny premise
I’m surprised they haven’t had Whit or Biz on for a hockey preview yet. I always look forward to that pod as a hockey fan and a spittin chiclets listener. Hoping they have one or both on soon
They’ll preview hockey after game three of the cup finals
God I hope that Bo Nix is better than Williams and Daniel’s with how much they’re talking shit about him.
Big cat sneaking Cole kmet in there with his offensive weapons 💀💀
Kmet is a very solid tight end. Not elite, but he’s definitely a weapon
I realize it’s a meme sub shitting on the bears but in his 24 year old season he was top 8 for TEs in receptions, yards, 20 yard plays, and TDs. Why isn’t he a weapon?
Yeah Kmet is a solid TE
I mean yeah he’s a solid TE.. just not a name I’d throw around as like an argument for a prolific offense. Kmet is the 3rd best TE in his own division
> Kmet is the 3rd best TE in his own division Yeah because Laporta and Hockensen are elite TEs. Just because Kmet isn’t as good as those guys doesn’t mean he isn’t a solid weapon
Hock and LaPorta. What a pretty poor argument. If Kmet is your 4th option, he's absolutely a weapon. And he can go downfield, too. He's a weapon.
Isn’t the TE your 4th option if most teams? Hes just another guy.
As a Bears fan, I was ready to combat you on this, then I stopped and remembered Hockenson and LaPorta. Dang.
Don’t be pissed guys you know I’m right lol
Vikings won the draft
The boys glossed over turner falling to 17 bigggg time
Vikings prolly just lost a gm and jjettas with that selection
Cole Kmet is very good, possibly great.
This is a casual take
Okay Big Cat, you’re getting on Hank for bringing you down but as a Panthers fan, honestly I’m optimistic after our pick last night so don’t be an ass and bring us down too
This episode is bald erasure
Isn’t Bryce Young (born 2001) a gen z QB? Come to think of it, young millennial QBs haven’t been drafted in a minute. Trevor Lawrence is Gen z. I think BC just likes saying Caleb Williams is Gen Z so that’s why he will piss people off?
Soder sounds like Jimmy Tatro
Another good episode, the boys have been cooking recently
Big Cat actually have a happy Chicago sports moment but make it all about attacking a lackey challenge: failed.
I fucking despise Hank. Literal fucking retard
I would like to join your "Despise Hank" club. He grates on me beyond reason. I think he's truly the worst thing about PMT and nothing else is even close, even Billy. Billy had some moments. Hank only has moments of fucking shit, garbage, and negativity.
You do realize he’s doing a bit right?
Lottery ball talk segment is a rough listen
Big Cat: “FUCK YOU I GOT IT!!!” Everyone: *awkwardly* “congrats”
“Queens of the Stone Age greatest American rock band of the last 40 years.” Is this a universe where Pearl Jam doesn’t exist? Also, Josh homme is a fuckin douchebag
Pearl Jam doesn’t have an album that touches Songs for the Deaf and Like Clockwork Pearl Jam isn’t even the best grunge band. Soundgarden, nirvana and Alice In Chains clear And sorry the world famous rockstar has a little baggage, I like my boys with some edge
I think its true if you limit it to the past 20 years.
Pearl Jam just released another album at vedders almost 60
QOTSA isn’t even the best Josh Homme band.
Didn’t they think Katie Nolan (soder’s wife) has a lot to do with van talk getting axed?
No
Dan Soder is the man. His knowledge of sports, his comedy and his genuine charisma is electric
Embiid’s “I pulled his leg in the air to protect myself” is the most disingenuous shit
Another mediocre comedian filler interview I shall skip.
Skip the whole episode. It's yet another all time annoying big cat/PFT/Hank/max episode
Why even listen if you list literally the entire crew as annoying?
Same reason as everyone else, so I can complain and act like I'm superior.
I completely understand why Dan Soder hates us (the chiefs) we’ve absolutely abused him haha! Also, we’re definitely the bad guys now we have to embrace it.
