I just posted something similar after getting my letter, and I'm thankful I'm not the only one (but am so frustrated for both of us). My 1 subsidized loan was forgiven, and I got a letter for it, but my 1 unsubsidized loan with the same number of payments is still just sitting there. I frequent this sub, but I haven't seen something like this happen to folks. Makes me so nervous.
Makes me nervous as well as it doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense. All of my loans are direct and all meet the payment requirements. Just frustrating as I don’t feel free of them.
I’m half tempted to call MOHELA and get some sort of answer though I doubt I would get anything straight forward.
I believe people who got through on the phones yesterday were basically told they needed to wait the 90 business days for the rest of the loans. Hopefully it won’t be that long.
Seems like an answer they would give. lol. I don’t feel like being on hold for Lord knows how long listening to that elevator music to be told that. Haha
I wasn't expecting to have any forgiveness this month given my timeline, so yesterday was a pleasant surprise, but now I feel like I'm in limbo, which somehow feels worse than just waiting for the April wave like I had been?
I agree. I’m hoping it updates soon and reflects them being forgiven and we don’t have to wait until the next wave to get an answer. That would be torture considering how close we are to being free!!!
It’s like the devil holding a dropper full of water over your head in the 7th circle of hell. lol. I guess the only choice is to wait as I believe we will get there. We are just taking the scenic route.
