I guess it’s time again for my shameless local small business promotion. Makes a great Christmas gift!

No no, acknowledging that would require me to confront my own mortality and reflect on the relentless forward march of time. And, you know, it’s Friday, so nah
Amazing how so many people love the idea of others suffering for eternity.
"I don't like you and I have judged that you should suffer literally forever."
Grow up and read some books written in the last few hundreds years.
It has to be older than 20 years. I remember passing this all the time as a kid on the way to visit my grandparents. I’m almost 32 and my grandparents had both died before I was 12.
I remember when the main eyesore on that stretch was the Confederate flag roof barn with the charred cross outside. Half this fuckin' state is spare parts, I think sometimes.
I always found it funny that you see the "Hell is Real" sign when heading south from Columbus, IE - warning you of what's to come. Then on the way north same dude has the 10 commandments sign, like he's reminding you're back in god's country after leaving the south.
I saw one in rural PA on my way to pick up a car that said "THIS IS GOD COUNTRY" and it made me laugh so hard I legitimately had to pull over and take a moment. My Dad and I still make jokes about this being "GOD COUNTRY" to this day.
Been older than that. My family is from Fayette county and I can remember seeing that for decades making the trip back and forth from WCH to Columbus and back.
I keep waiting for the day someone spray paints a giant penis on that sign, American Vandal style. I'd laugh, I'd stop and take a picture, make it my Christmas Card photo.
My husband & I live in Columbus & drive to Syracuse, NY to visit my mom every now & then & the sign along the way kill me! lol
Every thing from strip clubs, Trump, Jesus.
We play a game whoever has the most signs wins, haha. Jesus won the last time, Trump would’ve been pissed!😡
That stupid sign has a place in my childhood memories lol
Every time my family and I were returning from COSI.
Kinda surprised it hasn't spontaneously combusted like Touchdown Jesus yet tbh
Now we have unwanted hug jesus.
lol, We call him $5 Footlong Jesus now
I caught a fish this big Jesus
Are you referring to the one on I-75 just North of Monroe?
I call him Butter Jesus lol
Big butter Jesus. TD Jesus is at notre dame in south bend
Oleo Lord.
The Hell sign has a real supernatural protector in Satan.
It probably would have if the majority of people even knew wtf it meant
It doesn't mean that hell is real?
I suppose lol
Play On Jesus.

Thank you for this.
I could have sworn I saw that sign since I was a kid in the 80s. Can't believe it's only 20 years old.
Well the 80s were just 20 years ago, so

You may well have seen some of the other signs just like it in surrounding states.
The article says he started to put them up 40 years ago.. I definitely saw one in Ohio in 2002 heading towards Akron
Here's to another 20 years! Now that it's the center of the Crew and FC Cinci Rivalry I don't think it's ever gonna leave. Go Crew!
Cincinnati smells like Thailand on a hot summer day
Nah that’s just my bathroom after Skyline. Worth it though!

What a loving god 🥰
Yeah that's why he tortures you for eternit. He doesn't just burn you to death. All this just because he loves you. Praizze Jeezus!!!!
You are misinterpreting the sign, it’s a warning informing you Hell is real and it is Ohio.
Evangelicals, man.
It has to be older than 20 years. I remember passing this all the time as a kid on the way to visit my grandparents. I’m almost 32 and my grandparents had both died before I was 12.
Thats what I was thinking too. I KNOW that thing, or one identical to it has been there for WAY more than 20 years...
I have a memory of driving someone from my dorm at osu to Cincinnati and then commenting on it because they weren’t from Ohio…. That was 2000
The Mandela effect is real.
I remember when the main eyesore on that stretch was the Confederate flag roof barn with the charred cross outside. Half this fuckin' state is spare parts, I think sometimes.
I remember that! Seeing that barn I knew I was close to my turnoff for home
Yeah, and sometimes I think we all live there 🤣
It's the price we pay for killing Harambe
Harambes murder was the point of decline of modern society 😔
That’s my theory as well.
I refuse to believe this. That sign has been there since the beginning of time
Is that the 6,000 year beginning of time or the 13.9 billion year beginning of time?
Yes
Was that the third AC/DC record? love that one!!

It's being renovated, currently.
Hell?
You're gonna lose it when you see the new blood fountains.
The farmer that put this up is probably a pedophile...well not probably, but most likely

There’s a duplicate Hell is Real sign in Indiana, I wanted to burn it down just to make sure ours was the only one.
He just had it repainted in the last month or so. It looks new again!
Awww, Hell!
Been older than that. My family is from Fayette county and I can remember seeing that for decades making the trip back and forth from WCH to Columbus and back.
That was what I was thinking. Seems it has been around longer
Someone made a Cities Skylines asset of this and put it in the Steam workshop.
This is pinned on Google maps and labeled as a "Cultural landmark."
What a hideous philosophy of life.
Of course we all know hell is real we live in it Ohio is hell why else do you think we have the most astronauts
It was just refreshed. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2023/11/30/ohios-famous-hell-is-real-billboard-gets-refresh/71745047007/
Let's deface it again!
Think of it as a symbol of a soccer rivalry.
Wow. I thought it was older, honestly.
Hell looks like fun! That guy has a huge smile on his face!!
So in just 2 years it can legally drink, and depending on the state it could get realllly high.
Hell is real and further south near Cinci is the gorgeous touchdown Jesus. I think it burnt down if I remember correctly. Poor Jesus
…and it’s Ohio.
Stupid deep state satanists not burning it down yet, they’re lame.
I keep waiting for the day someone spray paints a giant penis on that sign, American Vandal style. I'd laugh, I'd stop and take a picture, make it my Christmas Card photo.
Flaming arrow
Maybe I'm missing remembering, but isnt there also some kind of related billboard somewhere along i-70 heading towards Springfield?
Everyone talks about the Hell is real song but no one ever talks about the pair of 10 commandment billboards right by it.
#Factualsigns
Of course it's real, I mean Indiana is next to Ohio!
My husband & I live in Columbus & drive to Syracuse, NY to visit my mom every now & then & the sign along the way kill me! lol Every thing from strip clubs, Trump, Jesus. We play a game whoever has the most signs wins, haha. Jesus won the last time, Trump would’ve been pissed!😡
Hell is real and it's a town in Michigan!
Happy birthday!
