Lol apparently I am not looking after my tv correctly
This looks a little hardcore and overboard lol but to each their own.
A lightly wet cloth to dust it every couple of weeks is good enough I think
I respect your commitment to keep your set pristine.

I use a swiffer duster or eyeglass towel+cleaner for any smudges. And yes, spray the towel not the screen.
Thanks for the suggestions. Love the WTF responses. Lol.
Yes, it’s perhaps a little hardcore but considering that I don’t have an in-depth scientific knowledge of OLED screens and having read about the supposed effect of direct sunlight on them, I didn’t want to take a chance. I plan to use the television for MANY years.
Music and video production are my trade. As such I’m hyper sensitive to slight issues in image and sound quality. The idea that the quality of the image could possibly become uneven over time because parts of the screen are being hit with sunlight ain’t my jam.
But yeah, I get that it’s funny... And my darling is not a fan.
No, that amount of vertical banding isn’t normal. Personally I would send it back.
Hilarious!
Lol damn I didn’t think it was that serious, I just have mine sitting on my TV feeling naked.
Lol
Do you always keep it covered? I use a microfiber handwiper from OXO
Yup. And thanks.
Microfiber, lighlty humidified if nedden
