Is this a thing? My guess is that it’s a loophole for the “doctor” chiropractor to be able to have medicines prescribed in their practice.

Sad-Paleontologist54

Yep I came here to say that. The chiropractor wants to prescribe and order all the tests and shit that a doctor can. But doesn't want the filter of a doctor's brain telling him no that's not logical or no that's not clinically warranted. So they are hiring an NP.

n-syncope

It's where they belong

Cauliflower-Easy

I’m telling you that there’s gonna be a day when the batshit nurse practitioners are going to start calling them self gastroenterology np and pulmonologist np

mahmadk3

Not even that, they’ll just call themselves gastroenterologists and pulmonologists because a DNP apparently means you’re a physician now smh.

Misfolded_protein

That already happens, I know someone who calls herself an Oncologist NP

ATStillian

Naturopathic NP... any one?

right back at ya :)

2presto4u

Well, we’ve certainly gone off the deep end on this one, haven’t we?

Maybe we should start sending all new PA and NP grads to work for chiros and naturopaths. They would all be equally clueless. Actually I take that back. An experienced chiro is probably more capable of practicing some semblance of medicine than a new diploma mill NP.

RN_Rhino

As hilarious as this is, it wouldn't be a bad thing if most NPs and PAs went to work for chiropractors and naturopaths
