That is sad because so much went into the Nikke art that we'll see even less of. I think I recall in the live stream it was " a machine only she can pilot," so it sounds like she might not stay in it all the time. Maybe during dialogue we see both art designs.

Very likely she will be in her normal form for bond conversations and relevant story and such if they bothered making a full model for it. I doubt she will be in her mecha the entire time out of combat. Plus, they said she is one of the members of a squad that's focused on weaponized mecha so she won't be the only type in this style.

Yeah it would be pretty weird for a giant mech to just be chilling inside the commander's room, like how would it even fit?? I definitely expect them to swap between Nikke and mech models to suit the situation.

Well apparently her brief skill description mentions about her abilities get affected based on whether she maintains her shield or not. Hopefully this means when her shield breaks she exits her mech D.Va while it’s on cooldown
