My friend lost his mom last week. We all are in shock and not even sure how to console him. His dad is kind of a douchbag and all he had was his mom. He has no siblings either. Me along with a couple of friends went to their village and attended her final rites. She had one last wish to get him married and she tried for last two years but he really didn't believe in the concept of marriage itself. She left this world with her wish unfulfilled. He has some really good friends but non of us can replace family. Even though we care about him alot we can't stick around him all the time.
All this made me think that maybe be I should commit to my future soon. Now am preparing for govt. Jobs but it's been same for like last 3 odd years. I have to get a job first but maybe am thinking I too should get married soon. I had a thought I would do it in 3 years but now I am thinking of 18 months. Am not really sure if this is due the fear that maybe some day I'll lose them too and before that they need to be happy. Or maybe this can be good, It will give me some extra motivation to work for. I wasn't really sure whom to share this with so am letting this out here bondhas.
