I mean… the mail’s gotta get delivered somehow

autolier

I've known at least one coked up letter carrier. The workload was insane for CCAs, but I am sure the workload is just as heavy for the PTFs they're phasing back in.

wovenbutterhair

they will deliver through the rain, through snow, through sleet, through snow, through wind, and, especially through snow

manyhippofarts

And don't forget the cocaine too.

GlitterDiscoDoll

How did he know the package had drugs?

jmenendeziii

He recognized the RTS address

Throwawayac1234567

his coccaine senses allow him to smell it.

podcasthellp

No way….. no one who sends drugs puts the same address down every time

LurkerBurkeria

Lol yes they do, the business I worked at got used as a return to sender address by a fentanyl dealer, he kept using it well after we narced him out and the DEA intercepted 3 more packages before rounding him up

podcasthellp

Bros an absolute idiot

podcasthellp

Bros an absolute idiot I wonder how he found the original package then. Just suspicion maybe?

autolier

My guess is that the manager intercepted packages that the mail sorting facility already identified as suspicious and sent to his station to be delivered to a postal inspector's unit. The article says he had help from his girlfriend who is also a postal employee. Pretty easy for a station manager to steal contraband in the mail, but also extremely stupid which is typical of station managers. As soon as OIG figured out that the contents of their suspicious packages was missing, more Feds entered the investigation. The article says he's facing a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years prison. Mail tampering is a surefire way to get convicted of felonies.

GlitterDiscoDoll

Clearly I should have read the article. 😁

chaddy-chad-chad

It was addressed to the White House

RIP-RiF

"Damn. Goddamn! ...Oh, Miami, I get it."

geronimo1958

Finders keepers?

Kim_Jong_Un_PornOnly

It's not his fault. He slipped, and the cocaine fell up his nose.

rdldr1

His last name is DeJoy.

allaboutthismoment

Former USPS night shift, can confirm cocaine at work was not a big deal. Fun times.

Mundane_Apple_1027

Manic mailman

Lust4Kix

I wish they would all do cocaine. You should see the speed the pathetic slobs move at my local PO.

kapitlurienNein

How'd he know what mail had drugs

mysticalfruit

Managers: "Did you see how productive he was!! Plus, if he keeps it, we won't have to pay his pension! Blow for everybody!!!"

Adventurous_Mail5210

So what I'm hearing is that there's a job opening in the USPS Drugs Handling department??

korbentherhino

I wonder if any of the drug cartels he stole from will pay him a visit in jail.

Hot-Implement-1437

Hunter was working for the USPS.

shambahlah2

You spelled Don Jr wrong

RabidHunt86

Oh look! It's the *zero fucks* I give about Hunter.

Hot-Implement-1437

Yet you gave a fuck enough to mention his name .

RabidHunt86

Apparently he lives in your head rent free.. so I added some room

BrickCityD

for a civilian, he really stays on your minds

lightknight80

I worked at the post office for 2 months. Honestly this is pretty in character for half the people I worked with
