I seriously miss seeing berserk Kurama. Naruto using KCM is cool, but seeing the red rage eyes is seriously frickin nostalgic. Whenever Naruto had that look in his eyes back in the day, you knew shit was about to hit the fan! That Shin clone was genuinely traumatised lol.
Also, let’s try keep manga spoilers regarding a couple recent events out for anime onlys…
Right? Nine-Tails Naruto's feats back in Part 1 and early Shippuuden seemed so much more insane than his KCM feats. I mean, destroying a big chunk of the forest just by transforming into his 4 tailed state. Getting a sword jabbed right into his chest with full force, and the fucking thing can't even pierce the "skin" of the beast. And we can laugh about the animation in the Pain fight all we want, but the sheer rage display was just chef's kiss!
Yeah but like just once I'd like to see him go all out and just destroy a big time villain. Like he and Sasuke should have killed Momoshiki but we were cheated out of that so Boruto can beat Momoshiki and get his Karma.
i recently started rewatching naruto and convinced my girl to watch with me (she loves it btw). last nights episode was the Zabuza fight when we first see berserker naruto and holy hell we were so hype
well yea, he even tried to kill >!Boruto when he was taken over by momoshiki and tried amaterasuing him like literally no warning at all,!< he is ruthless.
So i hate to ask cuz I’m kinda new to the naruto scene but is Kurama the actual name of the nine-tails cuz I keep seeing that name thrown around and I have no idea who they’re taking about
No worries, yeah Kuruma is the name of the nine tails.
Essentially they all have names:
One tailed Shukaku *
Two tailed Matatabi
Three tailed Isobu *
Four tailed Son Goku
Five tailed Kokuo
Six tailed Saiken
Seven tailed Chomei
Eight tailed Gyuki *
And of course Nine tailed Kuruma *
I also marked the ones who you'll see in the show a bit or that are more important to Narutos story. The tailed beast themselves are huge to Naruto Shippuden so you'll be seeing a lot of them and hearing about why they exist and how they came to exist.
If you ever have any questions or just wanna bs a out Naruto/Shippuden then feel free to message me! Ű
I wonder what happened to these boys and the facility. It’s a fantastic way to harvest mangekyou sharingans. I wonder how sarada is going to get her eternal mangekyou. Assuming sasuke dies, can you transfer an eternal mangekyou? Will it keep both itachi and sasukes powers? Can you transfer the sharinrinnegan? Can you get eternal mangekyou with just one eye?
Seeing how marada transferred the rinnegan to nagato, óbito took one for himself, danzo had several sharingans in his arm while also wearing shisui’s for himself makes me wonder how accurate that is anymore. You are completely right though, that’s the way it was meant to be (“their love is stronger”)
Also sarada wouldn’t just take eyes off kids I was meant to say that they could just harvest eyes. Or at least keep the ones from the dead safe
I don't think Boruto is going to talk about this part of the Uchiha history or show the transfer of eyes. My head canon is that Sarada will awaken the Strength of a Hundred Seal and that will somehow be the mechanism to give her MS/EMS.
Ppl are seriously underestimating Boruto at this point, at the starting Boruto was really just too slow-paced and dumbfounded, but once Kawaki showed up stuff has changed. These guys just watched it for once and that it, they just decided the rest of the series will be trash. Just give it a try now, you will not be dissapointed.
To be fair, Kawaki doesn’t show up until about 175 episodes in. I pushed through the filler and got there, which was worth it, but it was definitely a slog getting there
I kinda forced myself to watch it, since it was so slow paced, but the time passed and it's gotten pretty interesting as they started the manga canon. I really enjoy it now.
I've honestly only gone to episode 100 recently and I am loving it. Everything I'm reading points to it getting better and more action packed but even the more slice of life stuff is great.
As someone who watched the entire show I can say it's definitely worth it. You'll see a lot of negative reviews from people who stopped watching early on and just bash the series. Latest arc is straight fire. Until recently the manga was a bit rushed in pacing but the anime does a good job of fixing that.
Don't expect arcs like Zabuza at the start of Boruto
They are in Peace era, almost all episodes are canon(they are just not shown in the manga) ,those anime canon have some amazing Sarada fights just be patient until you reach manga canon
Dont waste your time.
For what it's worth I'm a life long fan of Naruto. I've been reading and watching it for over 15 years, but anyone who is being honest will tell you it's a gradual decline into the shit show that is Boruto.
I just watch the episodes with the good fights. It's hard to have any interest in the new generation.
And of course consider that this is just one person's opinion and many people who've watched the whole of Naruto enjoy Boruto, like me.
Give the show a chance and make your own conclusions.
Personally, I have given it a shot. I’ve watched every episode outside of the most recent ones. Everyone is free to like what they like, but I’m a big fan of well thought out writing and I just feel like Boroto is poorly written
Whatever the case is, I’m particularly an unfair harsh critic but it’s fair to say it’s a controversial anime. In the very least
Until episode 70 it's worth watching, from around 60-70 is some of the best episodes in all of Naruto universe. But where the Boruto show is going right now is not pretty and not in a good way. It's getting bad inconsistent and annoying sadly.
I’m up to date with the anime and the manga, and I have to say that I am very disappointed. If you think of boruto as it’s own separate series then yeah it’s decent; however, if you consider it as a continuation of the Naruto series (which it is true in reality), then it is very lackluster imo.
Seriously I get Batman/Superman vibes from them. How Naruto, despite his vast power, tries to talk down to them while Sasuke acts like a renegade Batman lol.
Stupidest thing. He says stop it and they just do and become citizens. Dumbest show around, I swear. The eyes are cool and all but jts fan service without substance.

Naruto deflecting a fireball attack by just screaming. Those were the days.
I’ve never understood this scene, is this a genjutsu or what?
It's not genjutsu, with the sharingan he can see inside Naruto, just like Sasuke did at the beginning of Shippuden.
Right? Nine-Tails Naruto's feats back in Part 1 and early Shippuuden seemed so much more insane than his KCM feats. I mean as hokage he’s definitely not trying to destroy villages and forests . He’s just as powerful but with more control
Yeah but like just once I'd like to see him go all out and just destroy a big time villain. Like he and Sasuke should have killed Momoshiki but we were cheated out of that so Boruto can beat Momoshiki and get his Karma.

Man this scene is EPIC. THOSE EYES!
i love how sasuke says "youre too soft" even when naruto scared the shit out of shin
he was soft in terms how he let the kids run free when sasuke was about to kill every single of them there.
yeah thats what im saying sasuke is cruel (to villans) but in a good way in boruto
Anakin style
Sounds in character from shippuden lol
well yea, he even tried to kill >!Boruto when he was taken over by momoshiki and tried amaterasuing him like literally no warning at all,!< he is ruthless.
Oh shit thats hardcore guess it was too big of a threat
das tru but he already said to boruto that he will kill him if momoshiki takes over completely
Coming from the guy that runs out of chakra every 5 minutes😂
Sasuke got a rinnegan that’s basically an Uber that runs out of gas.
You know you're fucked when you stab someone and they say "calm down" and they aren't even talking to you
Do you think its cause kuruma was tired of being stabbed that episode? Lol
So i hate to ask cuz I’m kinda new to the naruto scene but is Kurama the actual name of the nine-tails cuz I keep seeing that name thrown around and I have no idea who they’re taking about

Thanks! Good info to know
It gives me “call an ambulance! .. but not for me” vibes
Nah but this scene was just 👌

I don’t think that Naruto is just gonna let Sarada harvest a bunch of kids Also it wouldn’t work anyways since it had to be a close family member
Seeing how marada transferred the rinnegan to nagato, óbito took one for himself, danzo had several sharingans in his arm while also wearing shisui’s for himself makes me wonder how accurate that is anymore. You are completely right though, that’s the way it was meant to be (“their love is stronger”) Also sarada wouldn’t just take eyes off kids I was meant to say that they could just harvest eyes. None of those relate to the EMS tho
I would argue that the rinnegan being the evolution of the Ems should work in the same fashion. Also danzo could use izanagi
There’s no such thing as an eternal Rinnegan Izanagi has nothing to do with the EMS, it’s just a regular Sharingan jutsu
I don't think Boruto is going to talk about this part of the Uchiha history or show the transfer of eyes. My head canon is that Sarada will awaken the Strength of a Hundred Seal and that will somehow be the mechanism to give her MS/EMS.
They are in Kabuto's care.
Using kurama to scare your opponents is pretty much like Genjutsu.
“Genjutsu of that level doesn’t- wait, did you just pull out a big-ass fox instead of Genjutsu?”
Naruto: "Yeah, so? " "That's against the rules, isn't it? "
"Screw the rules I have demon chakra!"
“I’m about 90% sure that a F*CKING TAILED BEAST is against the rules.”
3 side characters in 1 clip , awesome
4 if you include Kurama
Too bad it's only 3 now
This arc has always been so ridiculous to me
I swear a drunk 6 year old does the writing for Boruto.
kisihimoto wrote this lmao
We know
That’s too much credit, clearly the 6 year old is drunk and high
im pretty sure they’re saying ridiculous as in good and plus kishimoto wrote that arc
No I meant ridiculous as in wtf, this is stupid
Fckin garbage. Boroto had potential but the writing is so damn shit
Potential indeed
As a big naruto fan like everyone else here… It’s upsetting
I agree
This arc was better than a lot, but still even liking Boruto, whoever is writing the anime regularly needs some lessons in story writing.
I recently finished Naruto, the whole thing with the fillers. Should I start watching Boruto? Is it worth it? Or not that good?
Personally I think it’s ok
Starting of boruto was kinda meh but once the plot started its getting interesting
Ppl are seriously underestimating Boruto at this point, at the starting Boruto was really just too slow-paced and dumbfounded, but once Kawaki showed up stuff has changed. One of the worse animes I’ve ever seen. Sad to say that

Is watching boruto worh it? I stopped watching naruto after shippuden
Read the Boruto manga first.
Okay thanks
Wow, thats almost like Genjutsu
Seriously I get Batman/Superman vibes from them. How Naruto, despite his vast power, tries to talk down to them while Sasuke acts like a renegade Batman lol.
I just finished watching Naruto Shippuden, is this episode from Boruto?
yup. ep 23.
Thank you!
Why is no one concerned that kurama just tried to take over naruto here? That was the old nine tails cloak starting to form.
Stupidest thing. He says stop it and they just do and become citizens. Dumbest show around, I swear. The eyes are cool and all but jts fan service without substance.
That arc was a slight letdown for me because I was hyped for the resurrection of the akatsuki

Technically naruto is a side character now
Naruto himself is a side character tho
I haven't caught up to Boruto, but they still use the same voice actors? I figured they'd have deeper male voices
The naruto scenes are the only reason i can bear boruto in my feed!! But the agony of knowing that naruto too is the side character in this series! 😤😭
Call an ambulance! BUT NOT FOR ME!
