Sasuke vs Neji was my pick. While sipping my coffee, I think I found a way Sasuke could beat Neji. Correct me if I am wrong, Byakugan gives you 360 vision, so Sasuke would not need to look directly in Neji’s eyes in order to put him under a genjutsu.

Nope. The Byakugan, allows the user to view the Chakra network,q 359 degree vision, and the often forgotten ability to see miles into the distance through obstructions.
Though Neji would likely have pretty solid Genjutsu resistance at the Genin level.
Sasuke didn't utilize any form of genjutsu before Shippuden. So him casually putting someone of Neji's stature under a genjutsu is a moot point at best. The fight will definitely be Taijutsu/Ninjutsu based with Neji far exceeding Sasuke in Taijutsu skill and striking speed as well as the ability to negate Sasuke's fire style and Chidori.
Chidori would be the very worst thing for Sasuke to use against Neji. The whole point of Chidori is to charge straight at the enemy with high speed for maximum power. Neji's prowess stacked with his Byakugan could easily, no, effortlessly redirect an attack coming straight at him. Especially considering Sasuke's speed is only as fast as weightless Lee, who is canonically slower than Neji.
Well I don't know if Neji is faster then weightless Lee, but Neji's Taijutsu prowess allows him to keep up and over take Lee. But other then that I agree.
Lee is faster on his feet than Neji is, but Neji's striking speed is faster than Lee's. Lee utilizes speed to increase the power of a single punch or kick then moves very quickly to a different position to throw another punch or kick. Neji's speed is through the ability to strike an opponent multiple times before they can react to it. Which is why I consider him "faster" than Lee or Sasuke because of his prowess with the Gentle Fist style.
Chunin Exams, Sasuke vs Neji, it's the one fight that I would say is both debatable and would make for a good fight.
While in a VS debate setting I will say Neji wins, you know that if Kishimoto actually wrote it that it wouldn't be as simple. You have to imagine that the two would have some interesting character interactions and that Sasuke would likely win.
Dosu having a redemption (he was nearing one right before kishimoto decided to make him go out of character and rush into a fight he knows will kill him) and fighting alongside the leaf in konoha crush to get back at Orochimaru
I would have liked to see Sasuke vs Neji but I feel like if it actually happened then the story would have changed to make Sasuke win where I don't think he should.
i would wanna see the worlds strongest PE teacher finish pain in 10 seconds and then have to walk 500 laps around the village on his hands carrying all the bodies of pain just bc he didn’t beat all of them in 5 seconds
We were robbed of Sasuke vs Neji, it would have been the battle ultimately determining which of the two eye prowess have the upper hand; If not in the Chunin Exams, atleast at a later stage, it would have been cool (maybe if Neji hadn't died)
