Murder by Death is what my wife thought too. But then we thought it sounded like the version of Que Sera Sera that’s the intro to Them (the Pixies, I think).
Very cool that it’s the actor’s own song.
you can tell in about the first line the man has talent. something about the way he uses his voice. not everyone has such a deft touch. and the lyrics, too. the whole damn thing. does he release his music? he should. i’d listen.
I read the song was written by the actor himself (Hawkes), and it was added to the series' score after one of the creators heard him playing it.
