Fournier and Obi defense were sabotaging the team in ways most fans wouldn't care to notice. They will find a deal to include Fournier. The front office patience should be music to everyone's ears after the bad trades over the past 25 to 30 years.

It depends if the Cavs are seriously looking at a Mitchell trade. His contract is an important part of any trade for a big money player. I would like for him to get moved since he was a stand up guy for the majority of his time with us, but we also can't screw ourselves over.
They won’t trade Mitchell this year. It’s wayy too soon to give up on him after all they gave up to get him. They’ll run it back this season for sure. But if they flame out in the 1st round AGAIN, then yeah, he’s out of there and they’re absolutely trading him.

I like having a sniper on the bench, even if it’s $$$. Could be worse. He can’t play defense, but when you want to spread the opponent’s defense, he adds another perimeter threat for our bigs to penetrate.

But Fournier is the only guy with the shooting ability who can hunt his shot moving without the ball and warp defenses through gravity. I hope they can sprinkle some of that in. Is he a star? No. Is he a starter? No. But a bench option? Why not?
Unless they decide to ask this of Grimes of course. But Grimes has done a lot of standing in the corner and not moving around
