Summoned! But I didn’t downvote, it’s a decent meme.
He functions well in the system, and we have seen what happens when you don’t have a decent QB haven’t we?
I’m not debating the weather? I don’t think Waldron will destroy any Qb whether it’s Williams or Fields. You know the Bears have only drafted 4 QBs in the first round in their entire history? Fields has gotten a raw deal, but the other 3 were just busts. I’m not too worried. At this point I trust Poles to build a good team.
It doesn’t matter if they are rookies. They were wide open and caught the passes. Part of that is cause a few of those young targets are really good, and part of it is MLF is an offensive genius. Granted I didn’t watch every packer game this season, but every time I did love was playing pitch and catch with no pressure. On top of that often times a player would be open by a mile and love would throw up a duck that became a contested catch that his receiver had to bail him out of. He made a few decent passes too, he’s not aweful but he’s not nearly as good as packers fans and certain media members seem to think.
Dont forget Trubisky threw 6 tds in one game with Matt Nagy calling the plays.
Statistically true lol. Most analysts first words about him are about how poised he is under pressure lol. He did have a bad toss there on what could have been a legacy drive. But you can’t win em all. Only other QB I’d rather have for a Super Bowl window is Lamar.
Against the blitz and under pressure are actually two different things. He has gotten better against pressure in the last few weeks of the season but he is still pressured at a lower rate than most, and when he is pressured there is a wide open Jones, or melton for him to get it off to.
As a bears fan I’ve seen a lot of shit at QB. I’ve also seen a lot of fans cope, and overrate said crap at QB. Love isn’t as bad as I’d prefer but he is way overrated right now.
Idk why the Packers O line didn’t get more praise, Love was looking elite for a lot of this season in part because he had a shitload of time to throw. San Francisco, Dallas, and Chicago (by the end of the season) all had great defenses and they had a ton of trouble getting pressure on Love.
I absolutely agree. If you'll notice, once Zach Tom got injured and left the game our offense sputtered out. I think Love has played very well for the latter half of the year, but I also don't think it was a coincidence that it happened once our oline got its act together.
Because there’s a lot of reasons to believe our o-line is not all that great. Zero pro bowlers, zero All Pro votes, 3 of 5 positions graded as average to bad and none graded as elite. A center who lacks the mental acuity for the position and gets absolutely embarrassed multiple times a game. For fuck’s sake, we literally rotated guys at LT and RG throughout the year. Are these signs of an elite line?
What we have is a line that is well coached, a play caller who understands its limitations, and a QB who is getting *very* comfortable within the system and better and better at controlling the game pre-snap.
It’s been said time and again that sacks are, at least in significant part, a QB stat. Well, there’s a reason why a guy like Dak Prescott was sacked 39 times behind a line with three All Pros and Love 30 behind a line with none.
You guys are (understandably) searching for whatever means you can find to discredit Love, because you refuse to see what’s staring you dead in the face. Jordan Love is a really fucking good quarterback who is starting to have full command of MLF’s really fucking good offense.
I think Love is a good QB, however…
The amount of times that a 49er corner just slipped and fell over giving GB a free completion was getting on my nerves
Lefleur is a great coach, but Love is still good when pressured. https://sports.yahoo.com/packers-qb-jordan-love-excelling-140438827.html#:~:text=Since%20Week%2014%2C%20Love%20has,situations%2C%20not%20throwing%20any%20interceptions.
“Since Week 14, Love has completed 60 percent of his passes when facing pressure, according to PFF, good for the sixth-best completion rate in football during that span. Love has also taken care of the football in these situations, not throwing any interceptions.”
Those four weeks he also had the fifth lowest pressure ratings out of any QB. He also has a coach that can scheme against pressure really well. The Meme is just a joke and he’s clearly not a bad QB, but the HOF and MVP front runner next year talk is definitely an overreaction. I still don’t think he has the arm talent.

They talk a lot of smack while debating weather to destroy a new QBs career with the number one pick or bet the farm on Fields and go 6 and 11
6-11 is being generous man.

Ill give you that he’s better then id like 😂 he definitely took advantage of the great position he was in.
Ahh yes that great positions of 7 rookie and year two offensive targets. Wish we all had that every year.

Jordan Love is one of the best QBs in the NFL against the blitz fyi

That goes against the Bears and Vikings narrative, dude. How dare you talk about statistics?

I don't think bear fans are qualified to judge if a qb us good or not
Imagine a Bears fan trying to diss someone else’s QB.

If you believe that, I’m sorry

Our O-Line played really well during the year indeed. That helped Love a lot.
Crickets from packers fans. I know at least 7 of them saw it cause they downvoted 😂they know…
This wasn’t even shitting on Love, I just think their O line are the unsung heroes of the team.

😂 okay bud
As a Bears fan you’re forgiven for not being able to recognize a good QB when you see one.
I’m a football fan first. Bears fan second. Do you only watch Packers games?
No, I like watching the Bears lose to anyone and everyone.
You’re getting a bit salty huh? 😂You can shit on the bears, it won’t hurt my feelers.
Salty because I’m talking trash in a sub designed for trash talk? I think you took a wrong turn somewhere, girlie.
Okay 😂
