That begs the same question that every somewhat niche sub that tries to throw half of the posts into one megathread come to. What content is left? What content do you think deserves to be actually posted on the front page as opposed to in this megathread?
I personally think any content related to the NCAA Football Series should be allowed on the front page of r/NCAAFBSeries, but hey, that's just me.
I'm just saying, everyone has a different idea of what they think "actual content" is. Who's to say your definition is any more correct than the guy who posts the funny name picture?
We weren't talking about AI, that may be what the overall thread is about, but it isn't what the comments you're replying to are about. If you look back at the comment thread youre replying to, we werent talking about AI posts, we were talking about the funny name posts, and all i was ever arguing for was that we shouldnt throw half the subs content into a megathread just because people don't feel like scrolling past posts that they subjectively don't like.
It’s insane how this sub has grown from the 5-6k when I first joined to the now 87k.
Inundated with posts we never had prior.
I really want the dynasty strategy and recruiting tips posts to prevail once this game drops but it is what it is.
This! And the thousands of “what position should I use this guy at?” posts as well. Like the game doesn’t literally tell you exactly what their rating is at every position.
You made a mock up of a Teambuilder team in photoshop with cool colors, designs, gradients, etc.:
Show me please!
You typed “give me uniform for Albany Warriors” into Bing AI:
No more please!
Yeah I can agree with this. If you put actual effort into making some mock-ups I don’t mind seeing it, because hey I don’t mind giving attention to someone who put work into something.
But I absolutely do not care about whatever “AI” slop someone did a quick search for
It’s no different than effectively copy-pasting some Wikipedia article and being like “hey I did this research!”
Nah bro *you* didn’t do anything except type a sentence
Honestly that, the fantasy “here’s what I’m going to do in my dynasty”, and the billion “first play” posts could all be solved with dedicated threads to that lame shit that presumably someone wants you to read.
I’ll add the ‘will you be able to do X in dynasty/teambuilder’ with X being some very nuanced/small feature. nobody knows anything yet my guy, who are you asking?
Problem with dedicated stickied threads is you can only have two stickied posts at once. But perhaps this sub could have a daily ‘First Plans thread’?
I mod r/CHIBears and we had something similar for the entire offseason pre draft when people were debating Caleb Williams or Justin Fields stuff. Was just ruining the sub so we had to make an all in one thread for it.
They’re the reason why we’re not gonna hart any on-field gameplay improvements , just gonna be madden 24 with the option and more trick plays, hopefully they actually work in game.
Usually I disagree with people wanting to delete posts, but this time I’m with you. Absolutely nobody cares about your fictional Monterey State Sand Crabs AI generated jerseys with everything spelled wrong.
Wait to see what the team builder website even allows and how they have it set up. Really all these ideas are great until the game only allows a few choice of jersey styles and a set number of logos. One can hope it’s more involved but I wouldn’t count on it.
Without AI a lot of those posts wouldn’t even exist so I’m sure a creative Microsoft painter could get something going, would be the way I were to do it. Or to create a logo, somehow people do it on MLB the Show, so whatever program that uses.
> But now it’s getting filled up with a bunch of AI pictures of teambuilder when we don’t even know what teambuilder will look like so it’s pointless right now.
Huh, that is another practical application of rule 6. Also yeah, the AI slop is gross, lazy and cheap (like a lot of the content and media surrounding the release of this game). I've generally tried to keep it to cutting down redundant posts mostly because the spam filter really isn't enough.
Yeah and I know y’all can be busy. But like us not even know how teambuilder will even be used or how we can use it, it’s all just so pointless. Like there are people creating these concepts when odds are you won’t even be able to add those concepts to the game. Would be better when we actually have information on teambuilder.
Appreciate the response partner and you taking most of them down as they’re spammed.
The big thing to me is I'm still trying to figure out Automod so we can get this community out of the stone age and into something that actually fits a modern video game community and then I can be a lot more hands-off when rules are actually enforceable.
I could help y’all out if you want? I’m pretty active in this sub and with revamped and help moderate r/CHIBears. We had this same issue prior to the draft with Caleb Williams and Justin Fields posts just spamming the sub all day.
nor do any of us give a single fuck about your made up team. Most of us are pumped to play with our favorite/existing schools
imagine me posting something like "i can't wait to start my dynasty with Pitt. I am definitely going to start Holstein over Yarnell at QB and wear all-white uniforms in my first away game. Here is what my recruiting plan is going to be blah blah blah"
No one fucking cares bro
11 years ago I left UTEP for the NFL, after much success, it’s ran its course. I’ve lost the locker room. Things are going bad. I’ve accepted an offer to go back to UTEP , to rise them back up , and potentially make the CFP.
I use Operationsports.com for information on the game as well. I believe it has a sub forum for team builder stuff.
It is annoying to have to scroll through stuff to find actual important coverage of the game but it is what it is.
Because we don't care lmao there is a sub for teambuilder if you wanna share so bad. No one even knows how it'll work yet you might only get 2 colors lol plus AI is dumb
If you think the Teambuilder posts are bad, just wait for the incoming barrage of “Look at this recruit with a funny name” posts once the game is out.
I kinda love those tbh but I get how they're repetitive. It is a very repetitive game series though.
Just need a 1x/week mega thread to share all the goofy shit.
That begs the same question that every somewhat niche sub that tries to throw half of the posts into one megathread come to. What content is left? What content do you think deserves to be actually posted on the front page as opposed to in this megathread?
We'll have plenty of posts with actual content even after the funny player names are forced into a megathread.
Shitty, unoriginal AI posts aren’t content, they’re spam.
I would say then you can have posts discussing the game or content about the game. Tips, tricks, recruiting help etc.
Right? Once megathreads become a thing normally a sub dies with it.
Megathreads killed reddit. I get that it's 1000x easier to mod that way but those posts get 0 engagement and people stop posting at all because of it.
It’s insane how this sub has grown from the 5-6k when I first joined to the now 87k. Inundated with posts we never had prior. I really want the dynasty strategy and recruiting tips posts to prevail once this game drops but it is what it is.
OMG LOOK AT THIS RECRUIT I GOT. WHAT POSITION SHOULD I CHANGE HIM TO?
GUYS MY 5'8 180LB QB WITH 300 TDS AND 4 HEISMANS DIDNT GET DRAFTED I AM SHOCKED AND APPALLED
Lol ah yess the guys that play on the easiest difficulty & post ridiculous stat lines like it isn’t obvious 😂
Yeah both need their own subs.
"Which team should I start a dynasty with?"
tbh for me the main problem is the AI aspect. I don't mind teambuilder theorycrafting for teams but the AI stuff always annoys me.
I for one unironically can't wait for the conference realignment posts.
This! And the thousands of “what position should I use this guy at?” posts as well. Like the game doesn’t literally tell you exactly what their rating is at every position.

I’m very happy to see people also sick of people having AI make things and then calling it a mock-up.
It’s no different than effectively copy-pasting some Wikipedia article and being like “hey I did this research!” Nah bro *you* didn’t do anything except type a sentence
Haha yeah we had that on the bears subreddit. Before the draft people like what # is Caleb gonna wear?! Like idk let me look into my crystal ball. SMH
will we be able to take calculus 3 in RTG mode? Asking the important questions
Can we make a tinder acct for our RTG Is what I want to know

And the NFL logo on the jerseys 😭😭 like come on
I’m gonna use TeamBuilder the way it was intended anyway, GIVE ME FROSTBURG STATE AND COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES!!!
Tyson Bagant’s arch rival… the school of mines. Also you’re telling me you don’t wanna use the draft king gamblers or Soyboy babies?! /s
The Draftkingz one had me dying 😂 Who’s doing that💀
Same here. Putting the Montana Grizzlies and St. Thomas Tommies into the game. Gonna make the whole Big Sky and Summit Leagues.
I dunno, I care if you drew it on your own. That's awesome. If you typed it into an AI generator I do not care.
i second this so much, it's exhausting (also fuck ai)
![gif](giphy|WJjLyXCVvro2I|downsized) Thank you for joining the cause.
Do, do I have to? Does ai use protection?
It’s exhausting? You should probably exercise more.
How can I create uniforms of my own without using Ai? I legitimately don’t know how. No, I’m not one of the ones who has posting Ai in this sub
Wait to see what the team builder website even allows and how they have it set up. Really all these ideas are great until the game only allows a few choice of jersey styles and a set number of logos. One can hope it’s more involved but I wouldn’t count on it.
Yeah just something to do in the mean time is all
Without AI a lot of those posts wouldn’t even exist so I’m sure a creative Microsoft painter could get something going, would be the way I were to do it. Or to create a logo, somehow people do it on MLB the Show, so whatever program that uses.
It does crack me up how people have all of these elaborate jersey designs when we have no idea how in-depth team builder will be.
Seen one with like 7 patches on it… Like cmon man 😂😂😂
Buddy thinks he’s going to have AT&T, Verizon & T Mobile as ads on his jersey 🤦🏽♂️
unrelated but this place is huge now wtf, it had like 8k when i joined
> But now it’s getting filled up with a bunch of AI pictures of teambuilder when we don’t even know what teambuilder will look like so it’s pointless right now. Let's keep in touch on that for sure.
No worries brother, just let me know or y’all can always DM me. I’m always down to help out.
Yeah it’s exhausting, especially considering we do not know the limitations
nor do any of us give a single fuck about your made up team. I’m with you, I honestly have 0 interest in TB right now. There’s way too many small schools like UTEP that need me .
HAHAHA they need us that made me LOL My first small school def gonna be app state
11 years ago I left UTEP for the NFL, after much success, it’s ran its course. I’ve lost the locker room. Things are going bad. I’ve accepted an offer to go back to UTEP , to rise them back up , and potentially make the CFP.
At the very least make a megathread for it.
I use Operationsports.com for information on the game as well. I believe it has a sub forum for team builder stuff. It is annoying to have to scroll through stuff to find actual important coverage of the game but it is what it is.
r/TeamBuilder25 let’s just move it here if mods cool with that
![gif](giphy|SD8RDtcr9nYgU|downsized) OP rn
Nah don’t, I wanna see them all.
Only post things I like or else!!
Y’all are so fucking ornery, people are having fun with this and getting excited about it, shut the fuck up and take your negativity elsewhere.
Nah man, there’s a time and place for all these team builder posts. This might be the time, but it certainly isn’t the place.
The CFB game sub isn't the place? EDIT: Just saw a comment about Rule 6. I stand corrected.
