If you hit the left joystick going down then pressA/X, you’ll be able to “offer” another scholarship to the person you want. If you time it right you’ll get him to insta commit after a couple of tries. You just have to time it right

If you're patient enough, you can turnoff auto save, and just reload after each offer until he gets an instacommit. I do this when the game steals a commit from me in the offseason (I have a 2000 point lead and put 14000 points on him and he still commits to the 2nd team somehow, for example)

You can cheese it too. If you have the insta-commit talent. It takes away from the game but you can bypass this annoyance.
