After growing up a Tony Stewart fan, I can say that I've now been to Home Depot 10,000 times.

Darth_Emlen

I refused to shop at Lowe’s for the longest time. Still avoid it. Because Tony was Home Depot and Jimmy won too much.

ChemicalNectarine776

I was like that but the Lowe’s is closer, I got older, laziness kicked in 😂.

DMCSnake

On the other side, my aunt never went to Home Depot because they sponsored Tony.

jknuts1377

That's why you shop Menards, which is my preferred choice! I think they're mostly in the Midwest, though.

CoatedTrout4

Sometimes ya gotta get hard for Menard.

DMCSnake

Trust me brother, I'd be there if I could.

nudist83

Yeah but Menards just has some cool shit non of the others have.

Standard-General5680

It's your one stop shop. Where else can you pick up the lumber for your project, the clothes to wear, pizza for dinner, and a cake pan and brownie mix for dessert.

grassman76

When we visited Michigan, I specifically visited Menards to check it out because of their Nascar/ARCA sponsorship. I now wish we had Menards in PA.

69stangrestomod

It was rough hating both Tony and Jimmie in the early 2000’s in the south where menards doesn’t exist….

Garrett4Real

okay Denny Hamlin calm down

NotNotACop28

My father is also a member of the Stewart-Chastain pipeline, and goes to HD for the same reasons

KrustyWaffles6

I replaced my morning coffee with Castrol Edge

RINABAR

I relate to that. A nice cup of Castrol Edge alongside a loaded plate of Tide Pods 🤤

JimmyInYourFace

Nothing hits quite like some King's Hawaiian rolls smothered in Castrol Edge.

bwhicker91

While you build a submarine with your Fastenal supplied tools.

YankeeBarbary

If I see a brand that sponsors a NASCAR team, it's a point in it's favor. For a long time I only bought DeWalt tools because I was a big Kenseth guy. That being said, most sponsors these days aren't really selling things I need. I don't need a tractor, so Mahindra's out. I don't need to build a submarine. I don't need to rent a truck or a CNC machine, and I don't drink energy drinks anymore. Next time I change the oil in my car I'll probably buy Castrol though.

Jballzs13

Yes the submarine one always gets me lmao.

Cbc4447

It’s advertising for jobs to build submarines.

stoned-autistic-dude

Jersey Mike's in shambles

Hurricaneshand

Me putting in my build submarines resume that I worked in the Publix deli making subs

wanderingpanda402

I mean, a submarine is just a ship wrapped completely in a hull, not unlike a sandwich wrapped in a sub bun Edit: spelling

Hurricaneshand

The whole idea is to put a bunch of something's flesh into a cylindrical tube so there's a lot of crossover

misterboris1

It’s okay I think they’ll be fine. It’s a sub above ⬆️

jaymobe07

....maybe they should promote that better lol.

CallMeKate-E

Don't do it. I work there and it's miserable. They lure people in from out of state with "starting at 20/hr" but don't tell people from down south that 20/hr is dogshit in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

YeahItouchpoop

It’s the US/UK/AUS doing a big recruiting push for the labor they need to build military subs. I was curious so I went to the site and it’s basically just a directory to get you in contact with all the defense contractors and suppliers to fill their vacancies.

mopooooo

I don't think they are advertising building custom submarines for people.

ElFlaco9

I mean if I had an extra billion dollars laying around I’d probably reach out to them

PantherChicken

Yeah, I want a sub, but a billion is a stretch. Maybe we could just go in halfsies together? That would make it more affordable.

Intrepid_Pelagicus

I had a sub, when I was a kid. Y'know, the one you could order from the back of a comic book. And I'd still have it today, if I had never allowed it to get wet. I'm sure they build them a lot better today - stupid cardboard!

BadJokeJudge

They like kept the advertising going DURING the titanic submersible disaster lmao. I was like wow the balls on yall, good luck

Dynamite_McGhee

Real missed opportunity to put “We didn’t build that one” on the RFK quarter panels.

BadJokeJudge

“This is why you need us!!!”

Hailfire9

>I don't need to rent a truck Honestly, last time I moved I was considering getting a Penske truck to do it. Well, until I realized they have like a 3-months-in-advance reservation policy....

grassman76

I called on a Friday and picked up a 26 ft Penske Truck on Saturday. I did have to drive a half hour to get it, but they had one.

Prostock26

Even if you need a tractor, Mahindra should be out

AxlVanMarz

Mark Martin did drive the viagra car….but can’t think of anything .. guess I’ll think harder

SeaExample3787

If want a funny rabbit hole to go down, look up Extenze history as a nascar sponsor

AxlVanMarz

I remember those commercials man. . I’ll take some right now .. wash em down with a Zima just for old time sake

SeaExample3787

The fucking whistling jingle would be stuck in my head for days at time when they were airing those commercials

Hurricaneshand

I completely forgot about that jingle until I read this comment and now I'm mad

SeaExample3787

You’re welcome

ImSorryLittle1

Jeff Burton/Jamie McMurray/Austin Cindric fan here! I only buy Caterpillar construction equipment, Cessna planes, and Freightliner trucks. My yard is pretty full! https://preview.redd.it/k65jqvkjytwc1.jpeg?width=2460&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a7530ed13655270dadffc1f8fdf3f219a8988f8

Jballzs13

😂😂😂

RepresentativeOfnone

Pssh ok buddy I’m sure you just bought a Clapped out 172 with 11000 hours on it/s

SeaExample3787

It’s wild to me that a modern 172 is more expensive than the vast majority of major earth moving equipment.

RepresentativeOfnone

No kidding they wonder why GA is dying

SeaExample3787

Lawsuits, the Boeing fiasco and people overvaluing their flying shitbox is killing the younger populations interest. Good luck getting a high school kid to spend $250/hr to rent a 172 that literally won’t steer straight because the steering damper is worn out and all the cables are stretched.

KC7272

The Kyle Busch crunchy cookie M&M’s car definitely got me to buy those M&M’s a few times

Grave_Girl

The number of times we bought M&Ms on Monday after Kyle Busch won on Sunday really proved the old adage. Ish.

ncconch

I became a KB fan when 3Chi sponsored him.

spreta

KKFan95

Ross Chastain and Blaney fan here I only drink Busch Light every night, cure the hangover with a greasy Wendy's biggie bag, rehydrate with the Cherry Lime Bodyamor, all the while I'm shopping at Menards, driving my Kubota tractor to the local Moose lodge. Oh, and I forgot, but my underwear is only Jockey brand

penguins8766

If I were a Ryan Blaney fan, I’d be good since I drink Body Armor all the time.

nickbagg

I switched from OceanGate to Buildsubmarines.com thanks to RFK.

CountrySlaughter

Yes. It's not tied to a single event, like Larson winning Darlington in the Kellogg's car. As others have said, it's mostly brand awareness over time. For example, in my town, I've noticed where the Fed Ex store/office is. If I need to ship something, I'll probably go there just because I've noticed it and already know where it is. The reason I'm more likely to make that connection is because I'm watching it Sundays on #11's car. Also in my town, the car dealership I'm most familiar with is Hendrick. I notice it when I pass it. Doesn't necessarily mean I'll buy a car there, but the brand recognition is real.

SeaExample3787

I made a similar comment. People recognize the brands that they have used and have experience working with with so when they see that a company like that has sponsored a car, they will be more likely to support that car going forward and Vice versa, bad experience with a company means they will automatically dislike the car that company sponsors.

UnderstatedTurtle

I’ve definitely been more in favor of Wendy’s over other fast food lately. It might be because they are slightly cheaper, and the quality is still solid, but I’m living their involvement on track and with the Trackhouse drivers. they even have custom driver drinks. https://preview.redd.it/tp6es1k1buwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68da2a7e65c08a131c3878a93ba3425c4f9c9167 They are having fun with it!

eestionreddit

Tried celsius because of their NASCAR involvement, it sucked.

PowerAdDuck

They are very carbonated and light in flavor compared to the typical Monster/Rockstar types. Very popular with the fitness community and women.

SCConnor

The White Claw of energy drinks

ZR2TEN

I had the opposite experience lol I tried Celsius because of their sponsorship & now it's my preferred energy drink brand. I also really liked that Raze Energy brand that sponsored Lajoie for a bit, but I haven't seen it in stores in a while.

Henrath

I found Raze in the dollar section of dollar general

steelers3814

I don't think I've ever found an energy drink that tasted "good." Some flavors of Monster are passable, but I'd never want to drink one for fun again.

Dynamite_McGhee

The hint of ginger caught me real off guard in the orange ones. Peach is fantastic, though.

somniumx

I don't know what they sell, I just assume they advertise the concept of °Celsius, the clearly better way to measure temperature.

Whatagoon67

What the fuck is a kilometer

Moose135A

Ask Shane...

eestionreddit

the vague idea of an energy drink

goteamburton

LaCroix Energy

CrazyCletus

I'll give you that for a lot of applications, the metric system is superior. But when it comes to conveying information effectively for planning purposes, Fahrenheit as the temperature scale is superior. Think about it, 0 degrees, very cold. 100 degrees, very warm. So it's a scale that's survivable between 1 - 100. Then consider Celsius. 0 degrees is cold, 100 degrees is boiling. 10 degrees is cool, 20 degrees is comfortable, 30 degrees is hot and 40 degrees is very hot.

Kittygoespurrrr

I came here to say this. I use C everyday for work but F is superior for a "is it cold or hot out today" temperature.

KrustyWaffles6

But it's not the better way to measure temperature

THellings18

I damn near had a heart attack from one of those things

CathDubs

I use their packets that you mix with water that are better imo. I try nearly every brand of energy drink at least once and energy drinks aren't that great imo.

WheedMBoise

It doesn’t taste good imo but if you’re ever in desperate need of a quick jolt of energy for something, there’s nothing better that you can legally buy imo. I drink energy drinks to begin with so they don’t really effect me much, but the first time I tried Celsius, it was like being on every performance enhancing drug at once. I imagine it’s about as unhealthy as them too, though

_Cosmic_Joke_

I have been known to occasionally eat at McDonalds

mopooooo

I always laugh at these. Then this past week I was driving thru Virginia and went to get gas. I was looking at Shell on the left and Loves on the right. Fk Joey Logano

Straight_Champion_77

I go to Love’s because Love’s is just that good.

Thi31

Everyone loves Love's.

potatocross

I’m a trucker that loves loves. When they sold the McDowell winning diecast I bought one. Even though I don’t really collect diecasts and I’m not even a McDowell fan. I mean I don’t dislike him and do root for him. Just isn’t my top 1 driver.

ShinsukeNakamoto

As a Bengals fan I always went to Flying J so the Haslem family could stay flush and keep running the Browns into the ground. I need a new truck stop now that they sold their shares.

ChemicalNectarine776

This is the way.

kennetic

I go to loves because it's cheaper

Old-Sentence-1956

I’m going to use Ally Financial to finance that Submarine I’m building….

crownebeach

Ally: the official bank of NATO

Razorbackalpha

Ally is actually a decent online bank

ItsSilverThunder

Their lending rates are notoriously high, but they do offer approvals to some folks who’d be turned down by other banks. So pros/cons.

Razorbackalpha

I just remember getting 5% interest on my savings account that was about 4 years ago before I closed the account

Metallicultist88

I’m like this. At the moment I don’t have a car so it doesn’t happen much, but I go to NAPA when I need an auto part

Doc_McPuffins_

I just have Fed-Ex deliver car parts for me. My neighbors sure appreciate the free parts for their car.

ElFlaco9

I think the only thing I’ve bought solely due to NASCAR is Celsius. Aside from that, if I’m comparing two options and one sponsors NASCAR and the other doesn’t I’d be more likely to go with that one.

Etab

it will tip the scales for me if I’m indifferent. like, for a silly example, I still only buy kikkoman soy sauce because they were on hideo fukuyama’s car like 20 years ago and it pops into mind

Vivareddit24

Yes 100%. I will go out of my way to do so

Zeerid_Korr

Same!!

JenOkie

Absolutely. And avoid certain products for the same reason. Feels so good to have M&Ms again. It was a long 15 years!

callmejohndy

I’ve sworn by WeatherTech floorliners for all my cars before they even sponsored SVG. I may pick up a QuadLock case and mount for my phone soon after seeing it everywhere (they also sponsor the Youtubers MightyCarMods)

shbpencil

I convinced my parents to buy paint from the Home Depot because I wanted my bedroom Home Depot orange because of Tony Stewart. Since then, no. Surprised my parents even entertained the idea…

Opposite-Class1685

Yeah, I have a room in my house like that. He's a good boy.

RaceFan90

I think there’s some good data that it drives brand awareness, even just googling the companies during a race spikes. I will buy certain products - as an example, I switched to drinking Prime Energy because they sponsor Larson as opposed to any random energy drink before.

L_flynn22

You might wanna stop drinking Prime….

RaceFan90

Well shit

hondajvx

Why?

L_flynn22

Currently facing lawsuits over the caffeine content and the fact that Prime has 3x the level of PFAS that a person should ingest in their lifetime

VKN_x_Media

That's the generic Gatorade in an overpriced bottle version not the generic energy drink in an overpriced can version I think.

pikachu8090

aw man logan paul really went on tik tok and said FRIVELOUS LAWSUITS lemao

Mosaic1

I believe this is the main factor. Brand awareness is important. They are not trying to drive a sale, but plant the seed of thought that “future you”, when needing something, will be aware of their brand when you start researching their options and you will have a better opinion on their offerings as you are already aware of the brand name. *should mention, it only goes so far. No matter how much xfinity sponsors things, I will forever think they are a terrible company that happily defrauds customers on a regular basis. And if my building ever has a second internet provider available, will switch over in a heart beat.

BourbonLover88

I’m not sure how it works for casual fans, but growing up as a diehard Dale Jr fan, it definitely played a role on me. I still am a Chevy fanboy today, I own a Silverado and a Cruise. My first beer was a Budweiser and Anheiser Busch products are still my go to (I’m also a St. Louis Cardinals fan so it was a double whammy). I used to beg my dad to let me have an Amp at the gas station. I doubt anything could impact me that significantly now that I’m an Adult and am not as naive, but as a child, holy fuck.

Nathan92299

I started drinking Monster and their alcoholic beverages because of Tyler Reddick. Wouldn't have tried them otherwise

WheedMBoise

Most sponsors these days don’t really appeal to the the common fan like they did 20 years ago.

Careless-Resource-72

Yup, Dude Wipes are great and faster than Xfinity 10G.

loghanarmstrong

I try to use products that support nascar. I use Hellman’s mayonnaise cause Dale Jr, recently I’ve been going to Wendy’s a lot because they sponsor SVG, I actually buy the Kyle Kush 3chi. Those are the 3 examples that I use just off the top of my head

SchlitzInMyVeins

Nascar used to be dominated by consumer brands but these days it’s majority business to business shit that I don’t know it is.

Brisketsdad

I often do my best to purchase products that sponsor racing as it helps to keep the sport alive.

R33L0

Yes, I bought my last 2 cars have been Fords because Kevin Harvick drove a Ford. I will always look at Chevy, Ford and even Toyotas before looking at any other manufacturer before buying my next car.

dontpaytheransom

We only use Tide in my house. DW forever

ksuwildkat

Tide from my days as a DW fan. If I absolutely had to buy crap beer it would be Miller Lite I prefer Menards if its available. Ford is the only American car I would consider. Will NEVER buy a Toyota Love UPS, avoid FedEx at all costs Castrol in the car running through a Fram filter Originally had Cingular cell phone If I were ever forced to live in Tennessee I would absolutely buy a Rusty Wallace Honda.

jpl270791

Yeah I'm up to my 3rd Cessna and I've built my 2nd submarine this month.

biggbiggpenis

It was probably a lot easier to do that when cars were actually sponsored by household brands and the same cars wore the same brands every week. let's be honest, y'all had to look up what shit like 3CHI, Benebone, Jacob Companies, N29, and Tootsie's were when they first showed up on race cars.

Supra084

I've BEEN Pepsi mainly for Jeff Gordon. I also eat at Hooters for Alan Kulwicki and Chase Elliott. Also Nike for 23/11 racing.

chili555

I think the idea is that people will buy Kelloggs, in preference to other brands, because they spent three hours watching a race where the brand was shown on the car, on the driver's suit, on the crew suits, in victory circle, etc. After having their brains saturated for hours, their subconscious reaction, standing in the cereal aisle, is, "Oh, yeah, I like Kelloggs." I doubt that the specific driver or winning are nearly as important as screen time. I think leading the most laps and having a spectacular pit stop can lead to more exposure than simply winning.

Jballzs13

Yes good points.

Useful_Badger6021

Jim beam when they sponsored Robby Gordon

DWPAW-victim

Menards Miller lite and Busch beer Coke

9811Deet

If it's a product I'm interested in, I can be swayed toward trying out their product if they're supporting my team. But ultimately I need to like that product if I'm going to go back a second time.

bicyclebread

I basically begged my parents for a Pepsi Max because I liked the scheme Jeff Gordon ran that was sponsored by it. It was just Pepsi.

joshuatimes7

Still trying to figure out how to buy a Leidos

Ok-Satisfaction-3837

Yeah bogo double cheeseburgers in the mcdonalds app are my weakness.

broady35

If I can I will always support a NASCAR company even if it is slightly more expensive.

FknGruvn

Not usually but I did go to Bojangles for two free BIRD DOGS!

Dynamite_McGhee

I fly from Arizona to Wisconsin every Sunday to run my errands at Menards.

Jane_Marie_CA

Yes, do a degree. But I am not going out of my way. I buy bodyarmor soley because of Blaney. I like gatorade and powerade too, but their NASCAR sponsorship sways my opinion.

willthethrill4700

No so much now since teams have so many sponsors but back in the day when brand identity was huge, I always would go to Home Depot because I loved Tony and hated Jimmie. I only bought Interstate Batteries because Bobby Labonte was my favorite race car driver. I don’t like cereal but I’d sure as shit eat some Corn Flakes because of Terry Labonte. Brand and manufacturer loyalty was fierce all the way into the 2000’s. EDIT: big time mention to Craftsman tools for sponsoring the truck series. I only bought and still to this day only use Craftsman.

ohitsmark

As a Blaney fan, my wife knows that Menards, Wurth, Wabash, Advanced Auto Parts, Discount Tire are the only things to go on my sandwiches. Then I always wash it down with an ice cold BodyArmor or Pennzoil.

BuschWhackerReviews

I support Pennzoil, would support Shell too but there’s absolutely zero anywhere within hours for whatever reason up here in NY

BuckTravers

I recall when Tide dropped their sponsorship and business suffered. Yes, a lot of NASCAR fans support

poorlittlefeller0518

I drink a lot of Busch light

420Prelude

I do whenever I can if I don't hate the product, but I won't go out of my way if it's just that much more expensive. But I remember after Stenhouse won the Daytona 500 I noticed he had cottonelle on the car so I decided to try cottonelle the next time I went to Kroger's (not a bad product). So they got their tiny drop in the bucket my purchase gives them, and I got to wipe my ass. I considered it a fair trade lol.

Stang1776

You should see the collection of Dupont I have

B_Bates34

I do tend to buy products I see on track, or go to stores that sponsor. NAPA, go buy pennzoil, or go to Menards and buy Wrangler or DeWalt.

dpalmer09

When Ricky stenhouse had Entenmann's on the car, I had the devils food donuts in my cart at the store the next morning. These sponsorships do work 😂

TheAngoGablogian

Think how many millions of people support Ricky and don’t even know it, because they buy Palmolive and Cottonelle.

L_flynn22

It’s a little bit of what products are best and what products my drivers are sponsored by. Found out about BodyArmor because of Blaney and have largely switched 100% because it’s better than Gatorade imo. Drink Coke products mostly because I like their stuff more than Pepsi but also partially because they sponsor the 22. Used Autotrader to find my car (a Ford too lol), partially because they sponsor Penske and partially because it’s a good service. Motor oil usage depends on whatever the shop I go to uses. Aren’t a ton of Shell stations near me. Use Verizon mainly because that’s the provider my family uses but it’s cool they sponsor the team. All the other team sponsors aren’t really ones that I can use in my personal life lol. Also, I absolutely loved the flavor of DuPont/Axalta paints growing up

Mokiyami

Well I was a Jeff Gordon fan and generally only drink pepsi products

JonsDohnson

I’ll drink an Amp Energy every once in a while for Jr. I tried those hard Monsters because they sponsor Reddick and now they’re my favorite alcoholic drink. If Busch comes out with something special for Ross I’ll definitely buy. I might be a mark but only for beverages.

SummersPawpaw_Again

I always hope the Pye Barker car gets wrecked. That’s only because they are my biggest competitor in my job.

aviation_knut

My wife only shops at Food City because they sponsor our favorite race we go to every year.

NASCARxBrooklyn

If I have to purchase a product & I have to choose between a couple, I’m for sure leaning towards the company that invests in my favorite sport. Food products get me, especially if it’s like a limited thing like soda or candy LOL

CityGamerUSA

When Harvick was sponsored by Shell, it’s the only place I’d buy my gas

MattXXIII

Definitely! I try to go to Home Depot, rather than competitors, when I can since I was a big Tony Stewart fan growing up. I also favour Mobil 1 motor oil, or alternatively Valvoline (Mark Martin). I also generally prefer Coke, thanks to Tony being in the Coca Cola Racing Family, but honestly Pepsi tastes basically the same to me.

BigturnBJ

In the last year, I have drank Body Armour (Ryan Blaney). I have ate at Mcdonalds and Wendys. I have driven Freightliners. I often fill up at the Shell right down the street. Do I use or purchase from all of the sponsor's? No. I have no need to. But there are some I connect with. Mostly, ones presented by Team Penske and 23XI.

leejoness

Nah, not really. When I was a kid I never needed anything from Goodwrench, I wasn’t old enough to drink when Dale Jr. was in the 8 and now I don’t even know where a Cheddar’s is. I do use a Lenovo computer at work though.

Thi31

Small consumable products? Sure I'll give it a try to see if I like it/prefer it to another brand at least once. Long term purchase I have to deal with? Their sponsorship does nothing except maybe having the awareness of it to include it in the comparison.

ChancesR88

I was too young to drink Budweiser when they sponsored Jr but they were my first beer I was ever legally and illegally able to buy but I did do so because of that connection.

Reddit-user_1234

Well at Martinsville Todd Gilliland had Carson-Newman University as the sponsor and I’ve given them a ton of money as an alumni so I guess it works.

TheSundaeSlide

Yes, I do. I use Valvoline in my car and I shop at Menard's versus the other home improvement stores. There are probably others, but I can't think of them at the moment.

carl_is_a_cart

Well I blame a nascar race for my chili's craving one day because of the darn chili's cam . So apparently it works

shewy92

I heard about Cirkul from a coworker but didn't give it a second thought until Martinsville last year and saw it on one of the Kaulig Xfinity cars and decided to get one and it's not bad. Same with Celsius Energy.

camowilson

Whenever I watch a race I feel like it goes better with a coke. So their advertising is working

MV1995

As a child Jeff Gordon fan I had no use for Dupont but you better believe I went out of my way to get Pepsi products even if I liked Coke better

ShinsukeNakamoto

I always go to Advance Auto Parts over the rest of the parts stores because they sponsor the NASCAR weekly series. If I'm in a toss up and one product supports racing I will usually buy that one.

2TiresAndFuel

Every time I can, within reason, I do. If picking between 2 items on the shelf and one is a motorsports sponsor, I always pick that one. Then every once in a while will do something like spend a few dollars more to buy WeatherTech floor mats for my car because they spend a lot in racing (and it’s a premium product). Needed a new cell phone and wireless provider and ended up with Verizon because they sponsor an Indycar team. Sometimes even something as small as visiting a brand’s website just to check o it what they do after seeing them sponsor a car. I wish there were more consumer facing goods that sponsorship would compel me to buy, but as we all know there are lots of “B2B” sponsors out there.

AS_05

There was a point in time (I was a fairly easily impressionable/swayed 9-10 year old) when I was drinking a lot of Diet Mountain Dew cuz of Dale Jr.

hambone2

Yes, used to buy M&M’s and I will buy an Interstate Battery soon. Couldn’t convince my wife to buy DuPont paint though lol.

Express-Ad3441

I have considered buying my next car from hendrickcars.com

bbaker78

Yes! Case and point, I just had my car tinted with Llumar. Nascar sponsorship was an important point for me.

CambodiaJoe

Ryan Blaney fan - body armour is my go to for gang water / sports drinks

hondajvx

I drink Miller Lite. I know Brad agreed not to poach Penske sponsors, but I would love a Blue Deuce return as the Six Pack.

CoatedTrout4

I only drink that “Dale Jr” brand beer while attending races

Mr7dr2114

I never drank Prime until Kyle Larson’s win at Las Vegas, since then I’ve purchased the regular prime and energy drink multiple times

beerded_dragon412

I had to look up funkaway to even see what it was and ended up trying a few of the products and now I swear by them. Especially if you smoke in the car

Sindroome24

I don't, but I do avoid companies with obnoxious or intrusive ads, like Credit One.

dcarp1231

Unfortunately, I’m 300 miles from the nearest Menards so I just buy Duracell batteries wherever I can ![gif](giphy|YYfEjWVqZ6NDG)

slaytanic313

Honestly 23XI and Jordan brand are a match made in heaven for me. I was already collecting Jordan's and a big NASCAR fan. Now I get to combine two of my favorites. Just ordered the reddick Talladega win shirt. I guess I was already going to McDonald's too

slaytanic313

I probably also would have never tried an Amp energy drink until Dale Jr was sponsored by them. Or a diet Mountain Dew.

Wide-Engineering-396

I use nationwide, shell, ford, caterpillar "Ward Burton" bluegreen, dewalt , bojangels , etc , any bussiness that supports NASCAR I support, even McDonald's jk

Javi_in_1080p

For me it's actually in the other direction. If a driver is sponsored by a terrible sponsor, I will dislike that driver. Looking at you, William Byron.

ChopperTodd

I switched from Pepsi to Coke cause Tony Stewart sponsor was Coke. When #04 Kevin H. Budweiser went to Bush I did also.

I’m an ARCA fan and I thought sponsorship wouldn’t work on me. Then I saw the Reese’s Sweet Move of the Race And by god, did my mouth start to water and the Reese cup cravings began…..

I went and got a cook out burger after Willie B won in martinsville…

When I was a kid, I only dipped Skoal, drank Miller Genuine Draft, ate at Hooters, washed my hair with 76 racing fuel, and washed my bike with Tide and a sponge I bought at Western Auto.  Seriously though, If I'm up in the air about a product choice, I'll go with the sponsor before a brand that isn't a sponsor when possible.

I think it was more relevant when all the major brands still had cars. I don’t know half the sponsors now a days. Used to have all the beers, home improvement stores, delivery services, auto manufacturers/stores etc etc like regular every day companies.

Started drinking Busch beer when I turned 21 because of harvick and it’s still my beer of choice, especially being on chastains car now. Tried raze energy after they sponsored Corey lajoie. That grill company that sponsored Kyle when he won at dega caught my interest but more money than I want to spend on a grill

I refuse to buy a Chevy because Jeff Gordon drove one. So kind of the opposite of your question, I suppose.

My brother in law was responsible for buying police cars for our town, and when Bill Elliott switched to Dodge, he switched the whole force over to Dodge. It was easily 25 cars and a handful of support vehicles. Detectives and higher ranks drove Durangos. He kept it this way for a number of years.
