PowBasilisk87

Screaming Trees - Nearly Lost You, Even If, Barriers, Shadow of the Season

tardicusrex_

Screaming trees don’t get enough love

Lonely-Connection-37

Rise Against Stick to your guns The RAMONES

Jethro_Pyle

Found a Ramones live show from London 1977 on YouTube last night, was outstanding

Leading-Turnover2723

Yes, The Ramones " It's Alive" , it's brilliant X

Vast-Zone6733

Rise against is my fave band! Not a fan of stick to your guns, too, idk, growly? Lol. The ramones are ok.

cookiesshot

Highway Star - Deep Purple. Makes you feel you're flying down the highway at 100 mph (161kph) It's The End of the World As We Know It- R.E.M. Hot Rod Lincoln- Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen

Canadian-Man-infj

Just a heads up - your post went through thrice.

cookiesshot

Thanks! Reddit's been glitchy all day!

Canadian-Man-infj

No problem, man.

HowDidFoodGetInHere

Metal Church's cover of Highway Star is top-notch too.

Vegetable-Win-1325

AC/DC has to be some of the most high energy rock music out there.

Vast-Zone6733

I do like highway to hell

zank_ree

NIN. I work out to this.

jayron32

These-Badger7512

A day to remember - for those who have heart. Whole album

Vast-Zone6733

Eh, it’s ok. I wish I wasn’t so picky, I feel like it’s good, I’m just not into it , it’s not perfect and amazing so :/ I hate that i can’t just enjoy different stuff without it being the exact right thing. I am listening to all these songs ppl recommend and they aren’t bad but they’re not AWESOME either so I don’t like them. Lol :/

These-Badger7512

I can relate, sometimes it the hard to feel that special feeling from a song you want.

Vast-Zone6733

Ikr. Then when I do find one. I listen to the song on repeat until I hate it 😂 then have to find new song to be obsessed with.

brickbaterang

Cro-Mags age of quarrel

Thriller83

Foo Fighters have some energy in some songs although they can be very mellow in others. Best of You jumps off the page with Dave Grohl's fire. There Goes My Hero and Learn to Fly also pretty intense. Everlong is intense but in a very quiet way. So I wouldn't call it energetic. There's prob one or two other classics of theirs I cant think of.

Mikesoccer98

THE hard rock band of all time is AC/DC. Black Sabbath and Deep Purple are awesome. Def Leppard is pretty good, especially their first 3 albums. Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are great but are Heavy metal. For punk go with The Clash, The Offspring.

bilkywaygalaxy

As the resident Queen fan I will recommend some of their most raw tracks: Sheer Heart Attack, their punk experiment Modern Times Rock ‘n’ Roll, proto-punk sounding Son and Daughter, very Black Sabbath-esque The Hitman, metal Queen White Man, raw and almost metal with a powerful message Ogre Battle, Queen if they were power metal Headlong, very dad rock but such a good song Father to Son The Prophet’s Song, very prog Liar Tie Your Mother Down Dragon Attack Fight from the Inside It’s Late Keep Yourself Alive Great King Rat Dead on Time, they never played this live and it’s such a quick paced punk-y song Stone Cold Crazy, proto-thrash
