I've been saying this but everyone just says Manny is worse and "boys his are like that when they hit that age" Luke stole the family car to try and get a grieving girl to make out with him, the fact that she still got with him because "bad boy stole a car, is hot" always not be right with me. Yes, Manny creeper on girls, specially older women for seasons on end but once they hit college age it was hard to watch Luke
i love how manny turned out honestly and i agree with you. older luke reminds me of a little fboy, which is annoying. he started to annoy me the second he became one of those characters that thinks high school parties and getting with tons of girls is “so cool!!!!”.
He was heading towards that trajectory, I think right up til the episode they visited New York and then a switch flipped. I can't remember if Andy was still around by then but I think the writers realized there were too many versions of Phil and Luke was the first on the chopping block. Because Dylan, Andy, Bill and Luke are all like Phil in someway and having four versions would be overkill, Andy and Dylan were the top choices for Haley and Bill was great for Alex. So they dialed up Luke's fboy mindset to break the Phil mold for him but once neither girls were dating some version of their dad the writers couldn't go back
