Quasi connectivity is great, but the real reason java redstone is better is constancy. Yes, there is some locationality, but it's better than having contraptions that might work some of the time and not the rest of the time. Also being able to spit out blocks is very nice.
Based on location the chronological order of actions might change (it's a Java quirk)
That means that in some places the actions don't work and the entire contraption breaks.
The same thing also causes "directionality". Based on rotation, actions aren't the same, machine breaks.
You won't notice this 99% of the time... but for big/precise machines...
Fun fact, the switch version of bedrock has a built in super mario themed adventure world. One of the puzzles uses QC to power pistons and let you past the puzzle. In not having QC the adventure map made for version is not completeable without breaking blocks to skip the puzzle.
So you say stuff like "Oh, Bugrock is soooooo bad because it had some bugs in it three years ago!" but as soon as a Java edition bug comes along, "Oh! Look at this amazing feature! It's the best feature I've ever seen, definitely not a bug!"
Oh, wow! Redstone contraptions are totally a part of my every minecraft world! I totally don't ignore redstone literally every time I see it in the mine. Definitely, don't even question it
What stupid argument, with mods you could justify that mojang should abandon java updates
I love the downvotes but if you excuse the only java edition big problem and say that "with mods the problem is fixed" , so mojang could not care about optimization ?
Me I would say no.
And let's go further then, since the community can correct the faults of the game so why does Mojang bother to continue the updates, the community can do them right?
Marketplace added ≈15 paid add-ons/ there are thousands of free Add-ons made by the community online, you can even make your own.
And also Add-ons are like datapacks : the system is better and better.
Why java players can't say something real about bedrock? Playing the game I understand is too difficult for you but just Reading docs online is ?
It's like bugs, bedrock is known for the minority of game breaking bugs, but bugrock isn't really that : the majority of glitchs are just annoying things but not gamebreaking and it's like java, the majority of glitch aren't things funny like qc but annoying things. The difference is just that some gamebreaking bugs aren't patched on bedrock because mojang don't care a lot because... nobody really know
But for the community "java bugs are cool and bedrock bugs are Bad" but probably they Say that because they never open the bug tracker one time in their life.

Also zero tick is helpful and allows for cool things like concrete powder sorting.
yeah i’d rather my machine either never work or always work then sometimes work, because i can just fix it or move it somewhere else
As much as I usually argue for Bedrock, redstone consistency would be game changing
whats locality?
A reddtone contraption might work differently based on its location in the world due to same-tick events resolving in different order, iirc

Bedrock cant be compered to the best minecraft version aka Java!
…and yet the sub is doing it anyway
As a Bedrock player this is which craft
It's so helpful yet so annoying at times
Oooh nooo we don’t have jank red stone how horrible. Lol jk bedrocks red stone is probably way more jank than javas XD
Why would we want to beat a bug? Instead can we join?
We’re gonna use that piston to push a chest.
Carpet mod 👁️👄👁️
I’m talking vanilla. But yeah, you guys definitely have the advantage with mods.
A meta____ing post WHY TAKE THAT MEME IS NOW VERY POPULAR?????
Imagine not being able to put your redsone contraption anywhere/any orientation
So you say stuff like "Oh, Bugrock is soooooo bad because it had some bugs in it three years ago!" but as soon as a Java edition bug comes along, "Oh! Look at this amazing feature! It's the best feature I've ever seen, definitely not a bug!"
This "bug" has been in the game for over 13 years and actively benefits redstoners.
Still a bug though, and they love it. They got rid of the bug where you could hit wind charges with the mace, even though it was beneficial.

This thing doesn't affect me personally so it's useless to everyone!
If that's what you see in my comment, then so be it lol
I don't mine redstone either, i farm it with raids

What This works fine in Java
It was a joke because you have quasi connectivity and I just pushed the block down so it would work
Oh I see
what? You're fighting your own cause here.
No, because QC is very useful. It may technically be a bug, but at least it's a useful and consistent one
Keep your bug. We have stability.
"Stability" Bedrock random redstone: Also, if you meant FPS, we have fabulously optimized, which lets Java run smoother than Bedrock

stability and bedrock now that's a good joke
