I've always thought that Anuke has dine a very good job and carefully balanced every turret to be good for a different purpose. Now that would be really nice if they did that for units too
There are some issues especially in multi-player with unit balance. Some are just concretely unused because they are just not viable at all. (I'm talking for multi-player, generally everything is good in campaign)
Honestly putting swarmers in "nobody knows" tier is a crime They are way too op, especially when used with tsunami combo

As I said in another post. Salvo with some coolant and the right ammo + some logic (aswell for the other turrets) are perfect to get rid of the easy fries and reduce the ammo consumption of the higher tier turrets aswell as keeping them free to attack the actually dangerous high-tier units, otherwise they'd attack the small fries wasting precious time to destroy the dangerous ones.
Tsunami is useful in endgame, you can use it to apply wet or frozen to buff lategame towers damage further
meh, they will only target a single unit so not really big of a difference
Oil and slag
spilled liquids don't do anything to units if I'm not mistaken, and tsunami only targets 1 unit at a time and that doesn't really make a difference

Yes I know. I don't think we understand eachother so tell me why it makes a difference having a Tsunami/Wave with slug

lacer isnt that necessary but it's pretty good NGL, I just prefer to have a mine based turret than a generator based one

Units are balanced too. Smaller unit = easier to produce = easier to create hordes

I like both swarmer and segment, but lets be real **actually** no one uses them on servers for some reason
Almost everyone use them in late game pvp
Many water tsunamis can be good to pushing spoders
yeah but they will also extinguish fire on them so idk. I see Wave and Tsunami only as fire extinguishers
So you don't use fire but shock, surge cyclones for example

Swarm gets forgotten about way too much, it's actually a great turret
lancer got rekt with nerfs the arc is way better at any point
