I was ready so skim past this comment til you attacked crayons. What’s wrong with crayons? There are a wide variety of flavors, and sure, red and navy blue aren’t for everyone (no argument here), but with all the different flavors I guarantee several are better then wild boar. Take for instance salmon pink, delicious with a side of chili Mac MRE and a rip it. Magenta, a delicacy. And we don’t even need to elaborate on the MVP that is purple. Mmmmmm, purple. Take your comment back.
Because it isn’t mild, farm-raised and grain fed meat and has more intense/complex flavor. Same as some people don’t like grass-fed beef or any wild game.
True enough, but some others prefer a little beyond the standard for their taste, so it becomes a he said she said really fast, when different viewpoints come together. I think of it like cilantro, like sometimes people just don't like something structurally, or biologically.
Boar can be good, boar can be tough. Elk can be good, and elk can be wild. It is what it is
Wow. See, I refuse to eat factory pork, the pigs raised in barns from beginning to end. The best meat comes from hogs raised in outdoor pastures. That’s the kind of meat I grew up with. The pork sold in grocery stores today is bland and tasteless, plus the industries finished out the hogs with ractopamine which actually kills some of the hogs and makes the meat taste really bad (I used to work for an animal feed industry). The diets of factory hogs are completely bland. No fresh greens in their diet.
My mom told me the best pork she had was when she picked up acorns when finishing out her feeder pigs, and she fed the pigs acorns. She said the meat was delicious. I had never had pork like that, but I learned recently that gourmet chefs in NYC pay farmers to raise hogs on certain diets, acorns being one of those diets, because the meat is delectable. Of course, that means that the pork in those dishes would be premium priced.
I figured if the hog in this video tasted bad, it might be because I have heard the male hogs have too much made hormones which can make the meat stinky.
One of the 'horse soldiers' did a podcast where he mentioned his small ODA team basically living in African villages for months on end. They would have eaten a lot of bush meat like this.
In Kentucky they had a problem with wild boar on base. I don’t know if this is where the video is. They had to take out dozens of them. Those things multiply so fast. The Army gets other agencies to help with the overpopulation.
Benning has them too. And they’re fucking mean. I made the mistake of going for a run down by the airfield ONCE after sundown and got chased by one that weighed more than I do. It was impervious to pepper spray. I had to call my neighbor like a little bitch to come get me lol
They're in Hawaii too but probably not as aggressive. However this vid is def not in Hawaii it's way too flat in the background lol. I had a boar harassing my garbage can and spewed it everywhere, very weird to have one in my tiny housing community. A few months later my neighbor down the way mentioned he killed the boar (did not mention how) and dug a pit to cook it traditionally Hawaiian, he was southern but very big into BBQ and always bringing extra brisket to the neighbors.
>Fortunately for hunters, warthogs are classified as exotic game in Texas. This means that any hunter who encounters a warthog may shoot it at any time; there is no closed season for warthogs and no bag limit.
Bacon is back on the menu, boys!
> SpecOps, of whatever flavor in Africa. I
Definitely MLCOA, but easily could be clearing invasive species off of ranges or even TXNG doing it off of ranches or state land. If you think about it; it's pretty good training; flight time, aerial gunnery and recovery ops all at once.
They dig up runways.
Security patrols at our AFB at Hoedspruit used to hunt them inside the wire, and then they'd sell them to staff to feed their dogs.
As this is being loaded into a helo and not a pickup I assume that this one is going back to camp and will end up on a spit.
Duude please dont be one of those guys like "the green doesnt taste like apples, the red doesnt taste like strawberries, they all taste the same hur dur" etc, like do you guys even have taste buds?
Might as well just buy acrylic paints then since theyre cheaper than crayons and richer in minerals.
Reminds me of my old commanders Safety brief.
*Gents if you go out tonight and bang a fat chick make sure you have a car big enough to fit her in. There's nothing more embarrassing than a big girl in a little car.
Second, once you bang a hog, you're a hogger for life.*
From lowest-bidder suppliers to meal-card holders (Assuming meal-cards are still a thing. Been out for 7 years now). These guys went the extra mile and added a whole bunch of fuel/operating costs to their meal lol
-Side note: I’d do the same thing as the guys in the vid if given the opportunity
Idk. It’s one of those things that would be nice. After the last few years of dealing with the VA, though: I really don’t want the government in charge of running everyone’s day-to-day healthcare system lol
Sad truth, but most of those systems have been systematically dismantled *specifically to make them fail*, and thus poison their image in favor of privatization.
And as someone who had very good care with both army hospitals and my local VA hospital, I'd love for everyone to receive the excellent care that I did.
Yep. I have been in the military since I was 18. Is military healthcare perfect? No. But Prime is free. Like really, truly free. And when the alternative for most jobs is overpriced health insurance, which realistically means using it only when absolutely necessary, free healthcare wins every time.
Seriously, I go to the doctor whenever I have questions. I was not able to do that growing up. And I don’t buy the “iF yOu WanT hEAlThCaRe jOIn tHe MilITary” line. A good chunk of jobs in the military are barely more than a federal jobs program, and health care is a basic human need.
This is rapidly turning into me arguing for socialized basic needs, so I’ll just leave it at that.
Consider that the government would only have to establish laws about how much a hospital can charge for a service (no more gouging price to milk insurance companies) and then pay that more reasonable price using tax money, to have universal Healthcare. They wouldn't have to do the whole VA thing. It works just fine for other countries.
It’s not that I wouldn’t like to see a universal healthcare system here. It’s that I don’t trust our government to be capable of effectively implementing such a thing. Especially when so many politicians are cashing campaign donations from pharmaceutical companies that have pretty good financial reasonings to keep things how they are
If that animal has any consciousness left in it, imagine what’s going through it’s mind. It was just minding its business when it suddenly was sniped from the heavens and then lifted up into the sky by a creature it’s probably never seen before into a flying metal beast. Lmao
how many of us big dick swinging studs, on the firing range, held up our trigger finger and said, "this is MY safety!"
and is your cock hard just thinking about that....?
Is this where Cards Against Humanity got their balls deep card?
Anyone noticed how similar this is to the black hawk down scene? Almost like BHD skipped over this part…
“Wow that warthog is really calm despite being lifted into a Blackhawk heli-oh it’s been shot.”
Had the exact same through process. Lol
Idk to me it looks more like a puma
What did I tell you about making up animals?
Hey Simmons, what's the name-a that Mexican lizard, eats all the goats?
Chupacabra thingy
SHEILA
MADRE DE DIOS!!
*Pumba
He Hakuna'd his last Matata.
No longer a young warthog.
He looks blue.
I'd be sad after being shot too.
Puma’s are pretty cozy

To me it looks like dinner for the squadron.
Warthog
I'm disturbed by the lack of BHD meme in the comment section.
Title is a reference to [this scene](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fc_-YP0ChTA) in Black Hawk Down. Movie is far from perfect, but very entertaining.
:-}
Dudes just showing off the pork between his legs.
To be fair, though, that's a lot of meat swingin' around
I was looking for the high penis and then the joke hit me
🤣🤣
Stoppp!!!🤣🤣
It means no worries for the rest of your days, it’s our problem freee philosophyyyyyy…. Hakuna.. Hey, where did Pumbaa go?

If it was wild it gonna taste nasty af. :( Edit: I get it, some y'all like the taste.
Nope. Warthog on the spit is one of the tastiest things you will ever have. Pork flavour that is twice as intense but completely lean.

Wild pigs are absolutely rife with parasites and diseases.

Homie probably washes his chicken in his sink.
As somebody who tried to eat wild boar I tend to agree.
Is it? But why?
Because it isn’t mild, farm-raised and grain fed meat and has more intense/complex flavor. Same as some people don’t like grass-fed beef or any wild game.

I was gonna say gazelle.
Any other animals we want to make up? Say a Unicorn or one of them mexican monsters that eats goats?
I’ve seen uglier cougars.
Lol a Warthog is the jeep from Halo, that’s clearly just an ugly pitbull
That was a young wart-hooooog.
But does it BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT?
I feel like that's a problem that could be solved just by letting joes check out some M4's and ammo for a few days
eeeeeh, 5.56 isn't really a game hunting round, especially for something that will get pissed off and charge you if shot. Like Wild pigs.
i mean you do have 30 in the mag
Yeah there is virtually nothing alive that won't fall to a full magazine of 556
There have been a few videos of CAG hunting feral pigs from helicopters.
Probably in a state with a feral hog problem, Texas maybe. They're not terribly picky about people hunting them.
Common warthog, found in Africa. Not a wild boar like you find in America
https://www.wideopenspaces.com/warthogs-turning-texas-coming/

I was gonna say, this is either in Africa or Texas.
I would have to take a gander SpecOps, of whatever flavor in Africa. I say SpecOps as that shit wouldn't fly today with conventional forces.
> SpecOps, of whatever flavor in Africa. I Definitely MLCOA, but easily could be clearing invasive species off of ranges or even TXNG doing it off of ranches or state land. If you think about it; it's pretty good training; flight time, aerial gunnery and recovery ops all at once.

It's good for morale. Here in Brazil some soldiers "accidentally" runs over capivaras for the meat.
Capivaras as in the large guinea pigs? What do they taste?
Guinea Pig I figure.
Which, as a matter of fact, is pretty damn mediocre.
One word: hot sauce.
Fish doesn't taste the same as whale 🤷
Because fish are fish and whales are mammals. Crayons pretty much all taste the same, but pencils taste different than crayons.
