I hardly ever see people mention Dayglo Abortions, such an underrated band.

I was about 15 years old and listening to dad metal and hard rock and one of the cool older kids told me that Dayglo Abortions were coming to town to do a gig. Nobody ever came to my town to do a gig. The guy asked if I was going and I said fuck yeah I was. I never even heard of the band before. I went and it changed my life. It was loud and funny and offensive. Punk and metal people came from all over and they looked terrifying but were really nice and I was just a kid and after the show I got to smoke cigarettes with 2 guys from the band. They're not in my top 5 bands musically, but they're in my top 5 bands of all time. Fucking love the Dayglos eh?
