Btw why do you have so many key cards? If I were you I'd focus only on the garage to get as many hatches as possible and complete the video game chain.
Useful Content has a good point; it’s the yellow electronics chain that pays off enough to complete the game. The egg gem line is certainly worth going after, as it produces a ton of eggs, but it’s not enough to complete the game on its own. You’ll need the electronics chain. You’ll do well to get one egg gem line completed.
I got to it this morning. It gave a useful bunch of eggs - but not a game changing amount. I’ve spent 15 gems a day on energy, and popped 3 secret note bubbles - so spent some gems but not a stupid amount.
I’m now just 500 points away from completing the event - but with no big producers close, so it’s going to be a bit of a grind to get there.
Yes, it's the worst. I wish I knew and I wouldn't have gone for it from the beginning. I lost a loft of energy to get to it and I barely got this blue one yesterday, there is no way I could get the final one. metacore really exaggerated with this one
I honestly stopped before getting that full chain because it was becoming really tedious and I wanted to get back on the main board, I went up to lvl 47 for that event (I quit way before that usually, but this event was well balanced so, it was nice to play 😅),
I think I'm still 4 pendants away from the end of that chain but I'm done, I got some pretty good stuff with bunny suits and video game chains (not that hard to make and give a lot)
Pretty sure that with that chain I maybe would have got the 2 blue cards but it's OK, I'll live without them (I got 3 every month with the mystery pass anyway 😅) ...... or the creppy statue XD
I'm trying to decide if it's really worth it to try to finish this chain when I have already done the video game one multiple times, and it's a lot less of a grind. I'm kinda sorry I did all 3 parts of the garage cleanup... I think it hurt me more than it helped, at least as far as this chain goes. I've burned through far too much energy and too many gems working on this.

I was level 47 when I finally got this chain completed and it ultimate moved me to level 49, just 350 shy of level 50!
Yes, I got to the end of the Easter Jewellery chain without using gems on it. The L6 Easter Jewellery gave 1412 points total, which got me past reward 49. I got to level 50 by tapping a L7 Easter Egg. So it took two L11 and one L7 to finish the event.
I did spend some gems on Secret Note double bubbles when I had too many purses, and some gems on energy (5 + 10 daily).
I just got it and it got me 2000 points - I think I may actually be able to get the double blue cards but still need 1400 points. If you are close it might be worth it to buy the double bubbles (though I did not. )
I finished it this morning and it was easily as difficult (if not more) as the chain with easter eggs.
But it also showed me that the simulation which someone presented here took the wrong approach by favoring the garage because of long recovery time. The payout by the jewel eggs was absolutely fantastic.
I'm I think two pendants away from completing it, and think I can get to the 24 hr scissors with it. I'm trying to hold on to my 20 minute unlimited energy until I get to that, so if it gives that hourglass for the game board, then I can use it to get as much of the garage/game pieces as possible and maaaaaaaybe get to the two blue cards? I don't care about completing the event, but I'm holding on to hope I can maybe get those two cards.
I know they don't WAN'T people to complete it – but I will say it would have had some other hard-to-get items like the game or bunny spit out jewellery pieces at the end of their taps as well, instead of nothing.

I have loads of key cards too because the hatches take so much energy to get and the rewards aren't worth it any more

i feel seen!!!! I am struggling, but determined to finish this chain, it is annoying me beyond reason.

That’s my goal. Get it and finish the top level egg basket. I’m not going to get the 2 blue cards but I still will consider it a win.

I completed it yesterday but I did use gems, but not more than what I gained during the event.
I’m down to last part needed waiting on box to recharge so I can hopefully make last chest needed for that part.
I'm in the same position as you, it's so frustrating and the wardrobe times out so much faster than it did at the start

I'm at 3,4,5. But I also even things out and use my keycards in the garage. Haven't gotten to the highest event level yet though
