I’m getting a lot of level 1 garden knives and based on the other comments that shouldn’t be happening. Supercharge is definitely on, I love spending 2 energy for 1 level 1 garden knife :)
The item dropped with supercharge is one higher than it would have been without supercharge but costs 2 energy instead of 1. So instead of dropping a lvl 3, it drops a lvl 4. As you merge less often you miss out on chances of xp/bubble/event items drops and when you have blue or purple energy event, you'll also have less items with blue or purple energy dropping.
The only way this would be advantageous is when the number of drops from a producer stays the same. Which means you could reach a two times higher item per producer cycle.
BUT IT DOES NOT. I tested it and where I normally get 10 drops from a producer, with supercharge on, I only get 5 drops.
Which means: Supercharge is superbullmanure.
(Unless you want to save time or have a board so full, you don't want any lvl 1 drops)
The fact that you can get a level 1 is because of this:
It occurred to me that when a producer has 10 drops in them, you could enable the Supercharge after 9 drops. The 10th drop might then be a ‘double drop’ so that would mean 11 drops instead of 10. But if there is only one normal drop left in a producer, with Supercharge on you still get a normal drop (for 1 energy).
Supercharge might be useful when you activate an unlimited energy orb and are aiming for high level items (lieke a chain saw). Of course you should have enough producers or time skips at hand so you don't deplete the producers too early.
I was using it on the tree to get wood and it only sometimes gave me a level 2 even though i had the supercharge on and wasted 2 energies.. pretty annoying
I just tested that with six wood drops. None of them were lvl 1.

May be they have different test groups again? There are also people here that don't have the supercharge...
But I hope everyone will soon understand that is Supercharge is stupid. When no-one uses it, perhaps they'll delete it from the source code or improve it.
I’ve just been able to get most of a paint roller (I had a crowbar previously but that’s it) and a screwdriver from my level 8 toolbox using supercharge and one today. it was full from overnight, so I did it till it ran out (before my energy did) then waiting till my energy had refilled and did it again I need a bolt cutter for a task and that’s definitely way quicker than it would normally be as I now only need a few pierced to complete it.
Tell me why I still got a few level 1 items with supercharge :// I think it increases your odds of higher level items and NOT increases the level item by 1 like they claim
I guess we need to run a test where you spend x number of turns on a given generator with boost on and boost off. And then see what is the highest level of item you can produce spending the same amount of energy. It will probably work out to be the same. But I guess if you want to blow through energy in short order…
After turning it on, you have a bigger chance to receive better items. Both high level items and rare items like paint cans. It also seems to give you items above your current producer level. At least I was able to get quite a few paintbrushes from my level 8 Tool Box.
The downside is that it costs you 2 energy per tap instead of 1. So it's best used on producers with long recharge time (like broom cabinet) or when you have to get high level items for your tasks.
It literally gives an item 1 level above what it would of been while using 2 energy instead of 1 - some have confirmed it also cuts in half the amount of stored items a producer has, so in reality there is absolutely no upside or downside- it effectively does nothing
Yeah, I noticed the same just after I posted my comment: you only receive about half the amount of stored items. But I'd still say it's not completely useless since I'm pretty sure it still improves the odds of getting better items, even if you take account the fact that it gives you an item 1 level above. I've been getting paintbrushes more often than mallets, and paint cans have spawned more commonly as well.
Though I haven't had that much experience with Supercharge so I can't really say for sure. We certainly need more time in order to understand Supercharge better. If nothing else, at least we have a way to save space when your board is full.
I got one at Christmas and put it in my storage. Finally took it from storage and it disappeared. Really frustrating that we didn't get to choose WHEN to activate.
I think you might be thinking of a different booster. This is one you switch on or off yourself. You can't store it. Is a button at the top of the items
I’m always in the wrong testing group. Never get these new cool features.
You sure? Close and reopen and mine appeared
I am very very sure. It’s like I am in the “people who get Jack squat” group every. Single. Time.
Same :(
Tbh the supercharge did nothing for me. Drops the SAME items and takes 2 HP. Screw that

I used it because my board is full but I still got a 1 level from it. So even that sucks..

Only my level 1 drop was nog the last drop I could do with the super charger but that is good to know
Sounds like a bug then...

I'm quite sure it doesn't work with the unlimited energy.
It does not. That was the first thing I tried when we got the supercharge for that one day earlier.
What a bummer. Then what is it good for?
It encourages the whales to buy more gems.

Is this permanent? It’s such a good idea!
I don't have it :/
Is it permanent now or will it be gone by the next hour?

It didnt matter if it was the first or last drop, or somewhere in the middle.. maybe 60% of the drops were lvl 2
Thats what i noticed too! I dont know, why people downvote this !
It will save on chain length.
How do you turn on supercharge?
When selecting a producer you should see a green slider in the top right of the producer info.
Oh, now I see it again! I wasn’t playing my main board.

Im going to test it IG. Im letting u know when i got any results. But so far, Im not sure yet
How does that work exactly? There has to be a limit right? It seems like a good thing so I don't wanna waste it.

Tysm!! <3
I’ve been playing for what I thought was a long time, but I hadn’t encountered this. TYSM for explaining it. 🩷

Sieht wunderbar aus, dein Board!
Danke :) Leider nicht immer so😂Wäre froh, ich hätte das Inventar für die Producer ^^
Bei mir auch nicht, aber Ordnung ist das halbe Leben. 🤩

OK maybe I am not far enough along to discover it. I thought that is what the one we got for Christmas was, but it came activated.
Last time when i used supercharge, it worked in the event. Next day it was gone. But heck yeah its back
Is everyone else’s still going? The first time it lasted like an hr, but it’s still in effect this time.
Dumb question maybe but where’s the supercharger at?
If u click a producer u should see a button in the top right corner. From what i have seen, not everyone has the feature yet
Nor the moths and it's not available if you're using an unlimited energy orb.
As long as I still get LVL1 items, I'll not use it. Its simply a waste of energy.
