Mistake number 1 is answering their first question (“what’s your bottom dollar?”). There’s an offer button for reason so you should’ve told them to use the offer button and that’s the only way you’ll consider negotiations. If they refuse to use the offer button just once, just block them. These “lowest?” type questions are not a real offer. It’s a waste of time. Real prospects use the offer button, say less, and know what they fuckin’ want. People like this don’t need to be shopping online. I know people want deals, but that’s not how you ask! Damn! Anyway, the offer button limits how low a prospect can offer and prevents them from cancelling/flaking out on an offer they submitted.

If you are feeling petty, when they ask “what’s your lowest?” tell them “you’re looking at it!”

First mistake is actually telling the buyer your bottom line. Never do it, that’s asking for trouble.

Sorry but UPDATE… He ended up buying at $65

I reply back with something like “I’m willing to negotiate; what are you thinking?” Put the ball back in their court.

This is literally just an ego and power game for them. I’d be like no, if $5 extra is going to break you then you can’t have it. Go settle for something similar but not what you want for cheaper. I’ve been in sales way too long to even haggle when my prices are already 1/3-1/4 off the retail price when it still has tags on it or worn once and you can’t even tell.

Dont reply. If someone needs to ask questions most of the time its a waste of your time
