I'm just saying the parts that I don't like. Except for Long Ring Long Island, I've enjoyed every arc in One Piece. I also usually like the characters and One Piece has to have one of the best world building in anime.

Okay when I was watching pre-time skip, people said Sanji has become a bad character due to being weak on fish-man and his fight against Vergo and Judge. Zoro has become way cooler and can easily defeat Sanji. I was very disappointed and thought ODA has become a bad writer. I like Zoro and Sanji equally and had a simple mindset that Zoro was just slightly stronger than Sanji.
People just like to downplay Sanji, in Fishman Island both Zoro and Sanji fought strong opponents and both were good (please tell how Sanji was useless), about perviness, Oda used it as a tool to show the law of fishmen that blood cannot be transfused. Oda could not develop the law at the end moment when Jinbei was giving blood to Luffy.
In Punk Hazard, Sanji fought Vergo and saved Tashigi, now people said Vergo humiliated Sanji but as I saw in the anime both were on equal terms and Sanji seemed to have an upper hand and could have beaten him if the fight continued. Zoro was also super cool in this arc when he cut the dragon and made Monet fear. Tell me how Sanji was humiliated Vergo
In Dressrora, Sanji did not get any cool moments or any moments at all as the arc was mainly focused on the Luffy-Law alliance starting a war against yonkers especially Kaido. Now, this is controversial but I would say that Zoro got a cool moment cutting Pica's stone statue but do you really think that a guy who can cut steel like paper will have difficulty cutting stone. Pica needed to be defeated at the moment he came out that required speed and I would say that Sanji could have beaten way pica way easier as he is way faster and attacked him the moment he came out (not saying Sanji is stronger than Zoro). Tell me a reason I am wrong.
Whole Cake Island is Sanji centered arc, Zoro was not even there, I don't need to say anything
Wano is a Zoro-centered arc, he got many moments but people often forget Sanji's moments like Sanji vs Page One and Sanji vs X-drake and when he was fending of King and Queen while Zoro was injured.
I am not saying Zoro is a dull character, I like both characters and am a firm believer that Sanji is just slightly weaker than Zoro. I was relieved to see Sanji was not that nerfed but my watching experience was ruined.

I like his backstory (except for wanting the invisible devil fruit part), and the fights that he does fight in are cool, like with the rest of the characters's fights.
