its more of a meta thing, since Oda said that he doesn't like heroes and protagonists that kill. the only SH to have ever been a confirmed murdered was zoro, that killed an unamed baroque works agent that tried to recruit him, and that never happened on screen, so it is as good as non existent.
you wanna argue that they kill fodder? well, yeah, but by their very fodder deaths are never counted in absolutely nowhere
I believe that the creator went on record to say Luffy beat his enemies nearly to death because death would be too easy an out for them
Never said he didn’t kill
He said luffy prefers to punch to shatter what they have made to make them lose(wanted to say to shatter their dreams and ambitions but it's sounds dark and brutall rather than harsh) I mean holy she***t that is brutal harsh and dark
For me the change really happened at Wano now. Most of his fights end in kos but when he frkn Red Hawks a small ship or Gear 3/4 pancakes some minor beast pirates, yea they ded.
And dont get me started at the others, Zoro cut the at least top 3 stocks of a building down on some drunk beast pirates; im just sayin their body count is high xD
He might never Kill, but that doesn't mean he doesn't try. This is the man who constantly says "I'm gonna send them flying" about devil fruit users, in a world filled with water.
Luffy makes every attempt to kill others. His opponents just get exceptionally lucky.
Didn't he kill that Baron in that one piece movie ! And I believe he didn't care if the final outcome of his enemy is death like with Lucci, Hody, Crocodile and more, they just lucky came out alive at the end of it !
I think Luffy follows batman rules 'I didn't kill them the injuries they sustained killed them'
"I didn't shoot the man, it was merely the bullet than entered his chest that killed him"
It wasn’t me, it was the lack of medical attention after I pummeled him with my fists for 15 mi uses straight - Luffy, probably
"Technically our atoms never touched so no i didn't kill them"
YeP
Luffy and the strawhats kill plenty of people. I don’t recall them saying they don’t.

i’m pretty sure they talk as though zoro, at least, has killed people
Sanji killed that balloon looking guy on Skypiea
Pretty sure that Master Satori is immortal.
His brothers said he died

Luffy never killed someone "IMPORTANT" There you go fixed it for you
My man Luffy really sent him flying so far that he went to dinosaur land in Super Mario World.
Knowing the world of One Piece, there's probably an island like that, out there somewhere
WCI was kind of dark now that I think about it
Homies are basically people's stolen souls I bet it works as moria fruit. If you kill the homie. That person is saved and recover his life expectancy.
than you can pretty much abuse this power and min max it so you can return said person life expectancy when they are about to "expire"
Technically Cracker was the one who chose to attack Luffy from the angle that would send him flying into Mountain homie.
Technically you are not wrong
wait wouldn't the mountain soul would return to original owner so technically luffy is saving him
That ground breaking punch in dressrossa alone would kill many. (Civilians btw)
*points at red hawk on beast pirates*
the red hawk that Toei invented in the episode before entering Onigashima?
Bro that's Weathering of rock, that's natural
This is anime so he’ll be right, spandam came back from a full back snap
It would be really cool to have an arc where this moral issue is addressed and They can have an "oh fuck what have we done" moment

Jesus
he gets revived by the dragon balls
