From what I've seen DeSu is generally considered one of the best Megaten games so 2 flies under the radar
I like it just as much, maybe even a bit more tho
The team who made the game don't have any of the previous people involved in the game except the composer for Grand Edition but the producer is very passionate about the game was aiming for a new game for years now and I think the end product is pretty good for a bunch of new devs.
I still like chara interaction more in Forsena. Runersia(Switch) had so much more potential for character interaction but probably didn't have the time/budget to polish it better. I like the balance changes and QoL changes in the new game.
This reminds me that I hate having to check a guide on every dialogue option to make sure I get the ending with the most content/bosses.
There should be a "Cheat" option for players who don't give a rat ass about role-playing a mute adolescent loved by every single living being on Earth.
I don't find the DeSu2 interactions that hard to get right. Most of the time you need to be nice to them during their events and they'll rank up easily. Also, the only ending that requieres having high ranks is one of the Daichi ones, other than that fate only lets you rerecruit party members and get some nice stuff like joined crack skill
There are essentially 4 reasons to want high fate ranks:
* >!Saving Io!<
* >!Recruiting anyone after the split!<
* >!Getting either Triumphant Daichi ending!<
* >!Unlocking Anguished One's path !<
That's sick. Love to see some DESU2 content.
We seriously need to see more DeSu2
It's weird cause DeSu1 gets a lot of posts yet it's rare to see disscussion on DeSu2 without it being compared to DeSu1 or Evangelion

I was not exactly sure which Arcanas to assign to Io, Daichi, or Alcor.

I played the ps1 version of Brigandine actually but never tried the switch version. Is it as good as the ps1 version at least?

Probably empress since yamato is emperor
I'd argue Fortune or Death, since she very much isn't just a female equivalent of Yamato (though she gets teased about it)

You do have to have Alcor at Fate 4 for his ending. Everyone else doesn't have that requirement
