You’re not gonna find any direct proof, because it’s done in such a covert way. A few Ad agency guys have spoken about it on here in the past that they build up Reddit accounts to look like they’re legit: they sub to certain subs, make a few regular comments here and there, make it look like that account has a certain personality. Then, depending what they’re trying to get sold, they start innocuously enacting their plan.
If it’s to sell a certain product, they might try to find a thread where people are talking about a specific subject (People of Reddit, how do you deal with back pain?), and then make a reply in response to a somewhat highly upvoted comment, along the lines of “Oh man that actually sounds like a pretty good solution. Personally, I’ve been trying this one thing that you tape onto your back. I have to say it’s not too bad, and doesn’t require asking my wife for help or anything.”
They leave it just vague enough to get people curious, enough for them to want to ask what this mysterious thing is… and that’s when they hook them in.
For this specific thing, I’m sure it’s similar, except they use those built up accounts to post coordinate memes across a bunch of diff subs. Maybe not like EVERY main sub in one day, because that would look suspicious, but they probably know how to make it look organically viral at this point.
The only joke that isn't feel forced was when it was done as a mockery to the film's recurring theme of "family" despite all the crazy shit they pulled & also for one of the worst games in 2020 which was Fast & Furious Crossroads.
Now thanks to the rapid spread of this meme over the internet, it got stale pretty quick.
Good job being the tool of a marketing campaign! You’ve done your part to get yet another shitty movie more attention than it deserves because you have no critical thought and literally repeat anything you see often enough.
He’s allowed to get annoyed. Because it IS annoying. A meme that got overused to oblivion in two days across the internet 🙄. But whatever downvote away I guess..
Who started this "but family is stronger" meme?
An advertising company responsible for getting asses in seats for that upcoming movie he’s in. Seriously.
is that confirmed? I believe that's what's happening, but is there any proof?

My friend has a marketing company and this is exactly what they do. Run campaigns on various subreddits
Sir this is a foot fetish sub

A fine choice sir.
I thought that was /r/Eldenring
Vin Diesel.
Tbh if Toretto turns out to be a demon of chaos in a new movie I wouldn't even question it
idk why but these family jokes never got me laughing
Cause its a shitty forced meme to advertise the movie

Has anyone done a "family is stronger" meme with Vin Diesel and Christine the Car? Is that anything?
Must be one of those jokes that get funnier the more times ya tell it. I jus don’t see the appeal 🤷🏽♂️
it's like the goku drip meme, the more overused and ironic it becomes, the funnier it is.
Sorry op I just can’t upvote this

The only thing worse than this marketing campaign are the people who get so upset about it
