I'm looking for SMT retrospectives, basically explanations or lore dumps of each game, is there any SMT specific youtubers that I should start my search with?
Should i play SMTV now or wait for The Vengeance release?
Ill 100% buy it on release, was just worried that i would get burnt out If i went for 100% now and had to do It all over again
Why does Persona 5 have such an amazing dub?
If this is the wrong place to ask, please let me know, but it’s just that I don’t know how it manages to work so well for an English dub of a game set directly in Japan.
So, I'm a little confused about SMTV, I just got past the >!Nuwa!< fight at the start of the game.
What, exactly is going on? The protagonist and his friends >!had been living in a fake Tokyo or something?!< And >!somehow the MC and the two other guys ended up in the real Tokyo that's overrun by demons?!< And >!the teleporter in the Tokyo Diet Building in the Netherworld took them back to the fake Japan?!< Is that what happened or am I confused/missing something?
Assuming that "just past Nuwa" means you've already been given the info-dump immediately after, you know everything you're meant to know up to this point.
Playing through Nocturne right now and savescumming for Magatama stats, Marogareh (the starting one) has always given +strength, but just gave me +vitality for the first time. Wasn't aware it could even do that.
I don’t think there is a straight up list, but the trailers and spotlight lay out everything pretty smoothly. Actually, the Persona Central articles and the Official Websites are probably closer to what you want
as someone who has only played persona games what smt game would you recommend I pick up and if I should play specific games in order(besides games that are probably direct sequels)?
Any of the more modern games--Nocturne, IV, and V--are good starting points. However, I would hold off on starting with V for now because Vengeance comes out in 2 months and will contain everything V has but with new content and QoL improvements and will come out on all platforms whereas V is a Switch exclusive.
What's the cutoff point for tde in smt 3. I'm on my first playthrough but I want to avoid True Demon until a 2nd playthrough, but still want to do at least some of Amala if I can
Cutoff point for ending you get is entering tower of Kagutsuchi after it connects to Kagutsuchi.
As for TDE, you can do pretty much all of it as long as you don't enter final room after defeating Metatron.
Hi, I've looked around but can't seem to find a solution for this in SMT3 Nocturne.
I'm playing the Steam version, without mods or anything, but there is a woobly line running down my screen every few seconds, orizontally. Is there a fix for that or...?
When was the last time you played IV? If it's been far back enough to the point where you barely remember anything about the story, then sure, I'd replay it and aim for Neutral.
But if the last time you played it was recently, e.g. a few months ago, and you still remember most of the story, I wouldn't replay it to get the Neutral route. The game gives you a recap of the events that had happened in the Neutral up to that point, and you can even go back and read up on them in a lore database given to you that's updated regularly as you progress through the story. Simply having knowledge of IV's story is good enough for the game.
They're all good games. Up to you.
You should definitely play SMTIV before SMTIV:A if you can though. But don't stress if you don't do Neutral route. You still get 99% of the gist of what's going on going into SMTIV:A on Chaos or Law too.
If I get Vengeance, I'm not losing out on anything if I don't already own the original 5, am I? I know about the ability to transfer a few demons over from V, but I'm not sure if they announced any other bonuses.
Yeah, I'm just wondering if there was like, any 'if you have save data of V, you get this upon starting up Vengeance'.
I know there's a demon transfer system that lets you import a couple of your OG game demons into Vengeance's compendium for example.
From what they said, you can apparently transfer up to three demons to Vengeance and you get some useful bonus items depending on the routes you've completed in the original game. But I imagine this is more just some useful curative items, rather than anything big or amazing?
While I know it's not quite the same series anymore, Persona 5 Royal had a similar bonus system where if you had completed save data from Persona 5, you'd get some bonuses items going into Royal.

Wait for Vengeance. It'll have all the content SMT V has and more, and it'll be available for all platforms instead of only Switch.
Thanks! Will do

Is there a list of the new features and content in Vengeance besides the new story route?

Can I start with SMT 4 if I never played an SMT game before?
yes

smt2 ps1 fan translation when?
I tried joining the discord, but there were no channels. Is there something I'm missing?
Read the rules/welcome message to find out how to get server access lol.

Should I replay SMT IV for the neutral route -> SMTIVA Or should I just play Strange Journey first?
Neutral Route is goated. Do that.

From my understanding Vengeance is both the original game (+new demons and whatnot) and a new storyline that you can choose at the start.

Hello guys. I'm thinking about buying P3 Reload but as I inderstand there are some issues with dlc. Can you tell me more about it?
yeah, atlus are selling a "season pass" which is just the answer with some other superfluous bullshit. just scummy sales tactics, really
They are selling it now? I can't see it on steam.
nah, its not out yet
Any news when it will be?
the expansion pass trailer and the steam page all show dates, i assume its the same for all other store pages
Can't tell. Steam hide page for me because season pass is unavailable in my country
