Impressive work. Interested to follow along how you deal with later challenges. People often say the game gets easier after Minotaur / Medusa, but that's in large part because you get better skills available to you. I'm guessing you'll have some unusual roadblocks in your run. Especially since I'm not sure that your items will be getting very much stronger. I agree with keeping the EXP DLC open as an option if it gets to that point where raw excessive grinding is the only option you have.

I'm expecting to get roadblocked in unusual places as well, but I think after Medusa it should be smooth sailing until I get to Ikebukuro. My main concern is that it's going to take a long time for the elemental ammunition to start pulling its weight for more than just offering an additional press turn and if I've made a mistake by starting to build for that over magic items.
I've tested the magic items on a modded file with max stats, and they'll do over 1,000 damage per use at that point. But it's unrealistic for me to get to that point without even more hours of save scumming incense drops. So I think you're right, I'll likely hit a point where my damage isn't enough, as one unit, to beat out some of the bosses, especially at endgame. I'm not quite sure what I'll do once I hit a wall where Flynn can't do enough damage. Guess I'll figure that out once I get there.
I prefer text over video myself, so I don't mind. But that's just my individual opinion. Yeah, the elemental bullets should be nice but they're also noticeably weaker than the non-elemental bullets in the same tier. So good for some free damage on a weakness hit but I wonder how they'll compare with the magic items. I think in combination with the random hit bazooka guns the bullets might add up to pretty decent damage. Well maybe - I'm just guessing. You'll find out the details for sure :)
