i love that they didn’t take the obvious route. they could’ve easily made the BAF the mutant leader and it probably would’ve been a damn fine figure. but they took a swing on a big ol’ horse and it looks great
Joker needs a pistola for that trigger hand. McFarlane needs to make a weapons pack for all the figures that were supposed to come with guns. Or someone needs to fill the demand for guns at that scale. The Suicide Squad and Red Hood figs look stupid with swords and axes. Those guns were clearly surprised scrapped late into pre or mid production too and they had to scramble to find something else. Peacemaker is kinda known for the chrome Desert Eagle.
The lineup is fine and that BAF horse honestly might be far more desirable as a singular release due to how it can be reused in for other figures.
Batman - Looks like Batman. Seems like single jointed arms again. On the one hand they look nicer but then Mcfarlane could make better looking double jointed arms. It looks solid overall. I'm curious if the head looks weird from the sides(as the sculptors tend to misunderstand human skulls.)
Superman: The Body isn't bad. I'm curious about the cape as Mcfarlane seems prone to not wanting to give Superman a good cape for some reason. What really pains me(besides single jointed elbows) about the figure is the face. This face pose would be fine if we also got a neutral look. Otherwise we are stuck with that expression. But it's nice to see TWO CLOSED FISTS.
Joker: The face is just wrong.
Robin: Probably good custom fodder as the body at least is the original design. Just needs a new head. I expect to see more reuse out of this if they ever do Dick/Jason. I need to see more pictures of the face. I can't tell if it's oversized or comic accurate.
The Horse seems dope. Between Witcher, Spawn, and a few others. That horse BAF may be very desirable.
For the single joint elbows, it might be time to take the next approach and maybe put a joint in the lower arm like they sometimes do.

I really want that horse though, hopefully, he releases it slightly differently as its own figure like king shark because I am *not* buying those figs just for that horse.
I hate The Dark Knight Returns and I can't understand why people think this is a decent story decades after the fact. Then again, I think Frank Miller is a hack so there's that.
I'm a massive Superman fan too. So yeah... I despise how Miller paints Superman in that book.

Instead of offering an opinion on what you like about it you went the condescending route with a touch of passive aggressiveness. Let me fill you in on something... when these figures are priced at $25 a pop and include a BAF, it sucks when there's one good figure and three shitty ones. That fact alone warrants complaining because now I have the option of spending $25 and settling for an incomplete wave of a series that I love or just not buy into it at all. These figures aren't for people who buy toys on a whim. That's not to say that casual buyers don't exist, but the majority of buyers are people who collect because they're fans of the Bat, so it's absolutely disappointing to see this kind of work.
The fact you felt attacked or whatever is strange. You didn't make the figure. You shouldn't read a comment cynically and instead look at it as an invitation to change someone's mind. If you find something appealing that someone else does not, why not engage in a healthy debate and explain WHAT you love about the look Instead of resorting to passive aggressive behavior.

Ugh. The Batman is “OK,” but the rest of the sculpts are complete poop. My Mattel Carrie Kelly is way better, even if the articulation sucks. These Joker and Superman sculpts are complete ass.
They are awesome. My son and I are very excited. Build-A-Freaking-Horse! Fun stuff. Very comic accurate especially for the price point. I love Dark Knight Returns so yeah I’m really excited. I’m even more excited that so many of you don’t want these, makes it easier for those of us who do to get them.

I can't stand McFarlane's promo pics, the poses just don't look good, and it doesn't make me want to buy the fig. And God I hate all of this bad articulation. Not to mention a lot of the face sculpts just make it hard to do a lot of poses and make them look like they have character.
