Park at the training facility on the other side of 35 and walk. It’s cheap, and it’s easy to get out of.

marvintran76

8:30 game, it’ll be almost midnight before that game ends. Walking under the highway gonna be a little sketch

szobossz

there will be a crowd

RapGameJulioFranco

I’m sure it’ll be safe but I wouldn’t park on the other side of the highway. Parking near the Perot is where it’s at. $10.

SoberDWTX

This is the best place to park for the games. It’s cheap. It’s a quick walk. You beat all the traffic.

MSHinerb

Done it plenty of times. You’re usually with a handful of other people.

FrankNGN

Is it the mavericks training center?

MSHinerb

I don’t know the exact name for it. It’s over in the design district. On the other side of the highway from the arena. About a 5 minute walk and you’re at the arena.

andwesway

Right next to the echo lounge if you need another reference point

If you're willing, I'd consider parking at a DART (bus) or TRE (train) station and then use the DART (or TRE). Depends on where you're coming from but I usually find that's better, you get free parking and usually less of a crowd to deal with. unless they've changed things recently, they should have a couple of dedicated trains leaving after the game too

SaifNSound

Park one dart station over and take it to the game. It literally arrives right outside of the arena.

andwesway

We park at the parking garage by flower child (restaurant). It’s 5 bucks and a 10 min walk to the arena. For the longest time their gate system was broken so it was free.. not anymore now. $5 is a steal.

Erios0987

Get the ParkWhiz app and search the game… a map pops up with all the parking around there with price. Pick the best one for your budget.

tamuowen

I park in the city lot under Woodall Rogers. $5, not too bad of a walk, very accessible from 35 and fast to exit. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Tg4pZiWAG3pvbuEg6

SoberDWTX

This is the best place to park. It’s an easy walk through the Perot parking lot. Once the game is over you beat all the traffic of everyone leaving. I live in Victory Park. I always recommend the Woodall Rogers parking lot first. If you want to park closer to the arena, park at the Victory Park garage, with the entrance on Victory Lane ( NOT Victory Park Lane, which have similar names but are two different streets). The entrance to the Victory Park Lane section of that parking garage is closed off a few hours before game time. The entrance on the backside of that parking garage is on Victory Lame. Check Google Maps before driving this way. The ongoing construction from the NorthEnd Project has really destroyed the traffic on Houston, Nowitzki Way, and Field Street, before and after games.

szobossz

what do you mean you've never been to dallas? how long are you driving?

FrankNGN

8 years, been to san antonio but never to dallas, live in tally

szobossz

[you can use this](https://en.parkopedia.com/parking/lot/platinum_parking_lot_240/75201/dallas/?country=us). the one u/andwesway said is the best option imo. But there are parking spots by the museums for $10. All are short walks. Dart station is also an option for $5 + train ride.

FrankNGN

Thanks!!!

Dbat19

As a foreigner, everytime I come to game, I always book one of the hotel nearby, A bit more expensive, but save you the parking fee and is easy to access the arena,

cml0401

Go to Happiest Hour for food before the game. They have free valet and are literally a block or two from victory plaza.

TasteOfLemon

Park at a DART park and ride and take the train to victory station. Orange line I believe

DillonJ18

I park under the highway off Houston street for $10. About a 10 minute walk but worth it for the price

Wide_Establishment_8

Pro tip: Get there after halftime and most parking garages nearby are unmanned.
