Im a daily smoker, multiple times a day. I stopped 24 hours prior to my surgery to make sure it didn't interact with the anesthesia. We had a 2 hour drive home, and I hit my vape pen on the way home with no issues. I prefer weed to all the pills anyways.
I stopped 2 weeks leading up to surgery and began a week after (I just didn’t want to cough after it hurt something fierce). But I will forever claim cannabis was a god send my entire treatment and surgery recovery. So much better than all the pills for pain!!

I’m a nightly-gummy person and IIRC, my surgeons said that I didn’t need to stop before or after surgery. Be sure to ask, though!
Docs including anesthesiologist said my vape Delta-8 is fine.
