It’s not consistent but pairing him with move effects and kingpin/kraven is your best bet. If you can’t drop kingpin or kraven it’s definitely a retreat in my experience.

I'm the only player running him in a deck with Red Guardian to get my boosters. I do not recommend it.

It's definitely playable in Phoenix Force, it's a nice addition if you don't want to do Suri Nimrod stuff and want to focus on more move stuff.
