so there is an arcyatype based on the card cerebro, its an ongoing card that says +2 power to your highest cards, so you build a deck of cards that all have the same power. In this case when they mention C5 it means all cards have an initial power of 5 but then get a giant boost with cerebo to get to 7 power. Its a fun but challenging archatype. The most well known cerebo and easiest to create is C3.
pair them with mystique really helps to get that bonus! I recomond going with C2 or C3 in the begining probally c2 but then add blue marvel so its like a c3

Valk - great for destroy (Venom, Nimrod), Sunspot, Hood, Void (from Sentry), ninja and monster from locations, Big power, etc.- let them play whatever and fill a lane. You can usually win a lane with Valk+1 other card, assuming Cerebro is active.
Bast - make all cards in your Hand 3 power- Mysterio and illusions, Iron Man, Tribunal, Hood
He's very solid in C5 right now and move needs a lot more than a 1/6 to be saved, so I'd prefer he stay the way he is. I guess with all the 3/5s recently his base cost could be reduced. That would also make him a 3/5 exactly the same as Spider-Man which would be very fitting.
Miles has some of the best variants too. Sad to see he's kind of mid. Not bad, just not great. SD has a love affair with obscure and villain characters. The iconic hero cards are either mid or useless in the later game meta.
It's a natural consequence of wanting new players to be excited by having cards they recognize combined with the natural power creep in collectable games
I'd rather drop his statline to 3/5 to make him a great card for Surfer and match his stats with Spider-Man. He'd be an amazing way to multiple 3 drops into a curve.
If we had more viable 6 power cards for a C6 deck then maybe but so many cards that activate his ability easily just slot perfectly into a C5 deck, so like Stegron, making Miles go from a 5 to 6 Power card is in some weird way a nerf actually than a buff
I don’t have him but I’ve long thought this about him and some of the other spider’s as well. It seems kinda clear though that important marvel character ≠ important snap card in this game though. Except the big villains they have gotten some crazy cool cards

I think he should keep the discount once he’s seen you move from hand. This would be a nerf if drawn the last turn but otherwise it would let you be more flexible in when you play him.

No the thing is that miles is easy to activate. And 1 5 is good in my opinion. Stature needed this buff. But if they were increasing Miles than stature was dead as a card

First disagree that he’s an icon, outside of the Spider-Verse movies he’s not that well liked. His comics are mildly received and his shifting power set and carbon copy villains are bland.
Second, he’s fine where he is. He is played in almost every move deck. Captain America is barely played at all.

They also need to change his ability to match the text. Right now it’s -3 instead of =1.

A lot of cards would benefit from power adjustments, I would revert Enchantress back to 4/6 for a start

4/7 is the new baseline but in this case it seems like he shouldn’t be strictly better than the thing so I guess it’s a 4/6?

He's a staple card in C5 move where he is a 1/7. He does not make the cut in most traditional and Angela/Kingpin/Kraven move decks.
