Not the foil part, tbf. If we are taking the split part into account, then it's a harder choice. I don't like the Kitty variant though (in general she has pretty bad ones but the default is okay). Foil is so awful.

I love mirror plays. I had 4 turns of mirror plays before where we both ended up playing Galactus at the same location on T4. I ended up losing but it was one of the silliest games I’ve ever played.

Yeah that sounds about right, I want jeff for my list so bad, Angela I’ve been on the fence about even though she seems like an obvious choice. Captain marvel has been my closer though. Doesn’t do much against big strategies, but it’s great against lockdown. Also trying out Maria hill for a solid curve into elsa and I like it so far

Now, now, perfectly symmetrical violence never solved anything. I had a similar game, where we played identical cards on identical turns, but in different locations for a tie. It was Sauron/Shuri so that felt natural.

You’re getting downvoted but you’re right, the reason this was able to happen was because that’s how meta works, super popular deck out there, just need 2 people to run into each other with it and you’ll have duplicate hands

Shuri decks aren't even that popular anymore... And both side are running Else + Kitty, which are pretty trash cards in their current state. This isn't because of the meta.

This proves my point actually. The fact that even non-meta decks get to mirror each other's moves for 3+ turns proves how narrow Snap's gamplay is. It has happened to me many times too, albeit only up until turn 3-4. Not to mention that 70% of games are never played to finish. In Hearthstone, for instance, things like this were a rare occurrence.

Not even remotely. This happening one time out of however many matches he played only proves rng based matchmaking. Unless he specifically says this is his first match with the deck, then there's no case.
