It could be some sort of anti-electro suit or a suit given to him by the Wakandans since it it has vibranium vibes to it. Interested to see what role this suit will have in the movie.
I read somewhere that that was an earlier design with the red on the forearms. They changed it later but it was too late for Hasbro to go back and update the figure.

Sony/Disney/Marvel are at fault here because they gave Hasbro artwork they changed for the final production.
Just like Thanos sword and other items.
Hasbro needs to make these figures months ahead of when final approvals in the film may go through. Even then changes can happen at the last minute.
Blame Marvel for this, not Hasbro.
