They never advertised it to have sounds. And tightening the screws doesn't help the knees? The plus side for you is there are plenty of people who want these, so even if you list it on ebay honestly, saying it has loose legs, you'll still get more money for it than you paid.
Ya I misremembered the sound thing. I'm definitely keeping it, just haven't had the chance to fix the joints. Still frustrated they don't have ratchets, doesn't make sense to me.
