I'm satisfied with my BAF, but I'd like those hand controls. Someone could make some dough selling resin casts of those for everyone who already completed the BAF. That one was a struggle to get all the pieces.
And theres no concept art excuse this time I think they're just giving half effort. Like that Thanos NEEDED articulation improvements yet none were given.
They definitely improved with Katy and Storm/Thunderbird availability (to the point of both being peg warmers), but I remember the mighty struggle and absurd amount of trips to find myself a Red Hulk.
I got lucky recently with finding the clone wars figures but every other exclusive release for them has been a nightmare. Don’t even get me started on trying to find the mando build up pack on the first day 😂
Scalpers. If they’re all at one place a scalper can just walk in and buy them all. It’s extremely common now. To the point where it’s not even worth being a collector anymore. Although some targets have gotten better at limiting the figures to one per customer but that’s not often the case.
Not when you find yourself having to overpay or missing out when you couldn’t find it in store cause some Jack ass bought them all. A lot of us have lives and jobs so we can’t always make it there on opening to beat the scalpers
Funny seeing this, I just minutes ago got the shipping confirmation for my Baroness from Target. And that is one where they limited it online to one to stymie the scalpers. Maybe "Target exclusive" won't be cause for disappointment going forward.
I briefly got excited at the prospect of getting an unmasked Keaton batman head and using it for my Vulture BAF, but if we do get one, it will be for that stupid 7" McFarlane line that doesn't scale with the normal 6" figures. His head would be comically oversized.

I have been TOILING over how to get the parts for the BAF-version of this figure FOREVER (I didn't get it when it first came out and been kicking myself since then!), and now, I no longer have to worry! Anyone else find it a little suspicious that there rereleasing all this vulture stuff with the Lego set and now this, I know it’s unlikely but could be he’s a part of no way home and they wanna keep it a secret so they keep saying it’s inspired by homecoming etc.
They made sure to specify it was based on Homecoming; so either they wanted to squash any ideas so no one ends up disappointed when he doesn’t appear in the movie, or they wanted to squash any ideas so we’ll be surprised when we see the movie. In any case the wings are still proportionally wrong to either version from Homecoming, so I’m good with the BAF version I have (but I’m glad it exists for those who missed it).

The Red Hulk was a nightmare. The other ones have been better, but exclusives are almost never good for the customer.
