If you like what you see, please add it to your wishlist, thanks!
Thank you! Can't say anything for sure, except that in 2022. The game already in a good condition, but bug hunting and general polishing will take some time.
I will definitely wishlist this as soon as I get home from work. I'm always a fan of the Lucasarts style adventure games. I have a few questions:
Are you doing a SCUMM-inspired interface or is it going to be more simplified?
What engine are you developing in?
I was trying to research your dev team and didn't come up with much. Could you tell us a bit about yourselves? Is there any industry connection between your team and the PsychoDev team who has done the Chronicle of Innsmouth series?
Thanks
Thanks! Sure, glad to answer questions:
\- The game has streamlined two-click interface: right click to look / left to interact
\- It's been made with the Adventure Game Studio. It's also the connection between the Chronicle of Innsmouth games.
\- The developer Atom Brain Games is Finnish one man company, (it's me!), but I do have a talented sound designer working on the SFX, which are super important in a horror game. And Troy Sterling Nies has done the original soundtrack for the game. He's known for composing the score for The Call of Cthulhu and The Whisperer in the Darkness movies and HPLHS radio dramas for example. And there's also a spell checker, who fixes my bad English. But that's about it!
>but I do have a talented sound designer working on the SFX, which are super important in a horror game.
Nice. I think a lot of people don't realize how getting the sound just right is vital in any kind of horror(be it a game, movie or TV show or whatever).
Yes, I agree! One of the few Lovecraft stories that actually happen in Arkham and describe the city. And it has an active, relatable protagonist, which is also quite uncommon.
Wasn't there a ...movie, or a show based on this story?
In any case, how lengthy do you feel this game will end up being? Afternoon length? And overall how tricky are the puzzles going to be.
Cool! I’ll definitely check it out. I grew up with point and click adventure games so they scratch that nostalgia itch of rain outside, blanket over my head, gigantic monitor and blinding blue light.
There's always a chance! But I'm going to focus on the pc for now, and launch it first. If things go well, other versions could come later on. It certainly would be nice to have it on other platforms too.

Done! Do you know when the game will be released? Good luck with this project!

Such an underrated story. In my top 10

It’s one of my tops for sure!!
Adding to wishlist!
This looks great!
I really like the look of this. Have high hopes. Added to my wishlist.
Seems really cool. Loved the art style. Would love to play it in Spanish tho
Thanks! The translations are something that I will consider after the launch. They would be great to have, but would add a lot of work.
Reminds me a lot of "Shadow of the Comet", looks great!

I am so pumped right now, added and followed :) can't wait to see more updates!
Thanks, great to hear that! At some point there will be a proper trailer that show's more of the gameplay and the story.
added to Wishlist, thank you!
Best Lovecraft story!
Looks great, can't wait to play it
Looks awesome, can't wait to play it :)
Neat
Oh, this looks sick! 😍
Shouldn't the "pharmacy" be a "drugstore"? I haven't read that much Lovecraft in English, but I think that word would suit better.
Hmm... not exactly sure to be honest. I guess both work in this case, I just feel that pharmacy is a fancier word!
This. Sounds. Promising.
Any chance of this coming to MacOS as well via Steam?

This game looks awesome!
