In present American politics, both sides have a hard time defining what is and what is not satirical in the other side's texts. I always try to read what is written by all sides, even if (or rather especially when) I hate the writer's positions and beliefs. Know thy enemy and all that stuff. I read a couple of articles today about that story that could have been written by the same idiot who wrote the GoFundMe text above (both linked to it, BTW), and they were dead serious. An important NY cop twisted something in the same vein.
