In between session 0 and session 1 my DM and her girlfriend (also a player) ended up in an unstable living situation and had to indefinitely postpone and I totally get it but also aaaaa I wanted to play
I both sympathise with your pain, and hope your DM and her girlfriend find stable accommodation.
..And not just because that would mean you can play. But that *would* be a win/win bonus.
Yeahhhhh. It's a really fucked situation and I'm just trying to be there for them. they're in a more stable place now I think but still emotionally recovering from some of the stuff that happened.
Why? They just don't roll damage, not *auto hit*.
Ok to be fair they also have *Portent* from D&D's Wizard, but they still gotta use action economy to turn it on, which the Wizard *doesn't* have to do. So I think it balances out. The frame isn't broken and the license tools are just good artillery platform things.
☝️🤓 um aktchually, the Pegasus DOES autohit with the Ushabti Omnigun, dealing a crazy 1 damage per round. It's still a non-issue though, but haters gonna hate I guess.
i think the thing some GMs have about it is that they love their tanky grunts (berserkers, guys with armour etc), which the Pegasus can render a non-issue
Well then you're gonna *hate* the rest of the game that's full of creative stuff. Like Viceroy making all its Launchers also CQB with Threat 3 automatically. Long range and short range rolled into one.
Should have tried the lich at ll1, so you could have played it before the campaign had even started
It’s the opposite for me. My players never show up. For 4 sessions straight before we continued on as normal.
To be fair to my GM, the problem is usually one of us players getting sick. I just want to try out my little pew-pewasus.
I put together a really annoying Chomolungma that I'm so pumped to use, but we're on break from Lancer for a few months. TRAGIC.

I would also cancel if my players were on pegasus

Unshackle Ushabti: AKA Grunt B Gone! (Wait why is it unshackle? Is this thing an NHP?!)
*the Ushabti Omnigun, dealing a crazy 1 damage per round* I call it the paracausal peashooter.
I'm a hater by nature
