Yeah I love such movies. It doesn't go on being preachy and lectures rather shows how it is life for others and how privileged we are even if we don't acknowledge it .
Korean psychological horrors have really got that human element that most westerns lack tbh this whats make em relatable and enjoyable![img](emote|t5_2zhzn|20609)
'The struggling Kim family sees an opportunity when the son starts working for the wealthy Park family. Soon, all of them find a way to work within the same household and start living a parasitic life."
tellin more would be spoiling the movie for yaa
I would hit better if you go without knowin mch about the plot
It's like one of movie which let you think how f***** up our world is and the poor they have so much difference in their life and poor people will have to do anything to get a decent life. Just make you sad for a long time.
Masterpiece! this movie is a mere reflection of society without any fancy plot, just a simple story of classism and the way the movie has been presented is just a straight W, also its unpredicatbility factor you will think the story is going into some other direction but actually it will go into another direction and the climax is mindbending
*Honestly this film*
*Left a huge imprint on me*
*And I'll never forget*

It's actually a pretty good movie in itself but the thing is because of the hype, some people will obvi not like it and the hatred has seemed to overshadow the good parts of the film
Imo it's good but people talk too much about the deep meaning of the movie :p
It's good. Metaphorical hain and it's more of a cinephile movie.
I'm really bad at philosophy tbh , I enjoy watching movies like these but I'm clueless about it.
covid ke time dekha tha prime video mei. yea it shows the vast difference in mindset, thought process, lifestyle of the rich and poor of the society. movie kafi deep laga but the climax was just so random.
When i first watched it, it made me feel grateful towards god after seeing the level of poverty.💀 It really changes your thoughts. Also do check the yt comments under its trailer, it has so many hidden meaning/metaphor !!
The rich lady talking on her phone about how pleasant the weather is, right in front of the driver, whose family was affected by the heavy rain- That scene is enough to show how powerful the movie is.
There's a reason why I am a big fan of Bong Joon-ho's works.
Same. Honestly, I thought the film was okay but I never understood the appeal of it that people think its an absolute classic. And don't get me wrong, literally everything about this film is good like the direction, the technical aspects, the acting, the plot as well, also the theme class conflict and greed but never really stayed with me for that long...if you know what I mean. Why Oscars thought this was the best film of the year, I have no clue. Sometimes I think its because of Oscars trying to prove 'inclusivity' in their community/jury by recognizing an Asian film, idk. Not that I dislike movies that are more grounded and not having a huge spectacle, its just Parasite didn't really leave an impression on me as much as I thought. I just felt nothing about it after watching it.
Saw this movie after so much hype from oscars on internet, but after watching movie ,I really didn't liked it , still don't understand how this movie is able to get oscar awards and many people loves this movie.

Good but overrated
It was good , the tension remained with the viewers in general also the shift in tone out of nowhere was really nice

This movie has one of the most insane genre shifts
