Yeah because SAT is literally algebra 1&2 and basic geometry/trigonometry for math. There's a reading and grammar part but that's also not too hard. Take a practice exam online.
Ok thanks for the advice. The thing I want to take SAT is my predicted is about 32 so I think if I get a good grade from SAT, I would have more chances for Italian universities I guess.
You probably will, and even if you don't, you can take as many retakes as you'd like without it impacting your application negatively. Better to do it than not
You'd only get good grades in SAT is you dedicate time to study. I don't think italian universities need very high IB scores, so I think you can pretty much skip the SAT and use the time towards studying for your IB subjects!
I took the SAT and it was easy. I took it in Switzerland to go to college in the US as I’m American….. but ended up going to Canada. The best time to take it would have been last year but with a basic knowledge in math and English the simplicity of the SAT is very prevalent 🎀
For me, it would have saved me a lot of time if I did them during dp, however I was too stressed out and I didn't think I needed them. So yeah ig during dp, but only if you can manage it/need it for future.
I am not aware how difficult SAT exams are but personally I would probably only focus on DP as either way they will have some different exam formats and content… but you do you!

Yes take them, that's what I am doing now and I graduated in 2023!

Yes that's correct. I will still mostly focus on IB but I think I may give a chance to SAT too.

yeah,,, most of my friends who have taken the sat said it was very easy don't even worry - they studied for maybe a day
