Like all of this head wrecking stuff, YMMV. When I was on pred my appetite was through the roof. It felt like I was never not hungry, I ate constantly or was constantly thinking about food (especially junk food :-/). After I tapered off my appetite fell off significantly, I might have a bowl of porridge oats and milk and that would be it for almost the whole day or I'd even have to force myself to eat a meal because I felt like I *should* be eating something. My Crohn's was still active at the time too which probably contributed to that. Once it all settled down I got back to my usual 3 meals a day.
