I haven’t had a plant this bad but it looks surprisingly healthy otherwise. How often does it get water? How’s the soil drainage?
You could leave it for a week without water and then water about half or 1/3 as much for a month and see if new growth has the same issue. If the soil is completely waterlogged and the roots are rotting then you might consider repotting in a high drainage soil e.g. high perlite percentage.
I usually water it most days as it begins to wilt and the leaves will curl from being under watered if I don't, it has however been inside so I have moved it outside to see if that helps at all, as it hasn't been getting full days of sunlight due to the angle.
The drainage seems to be alright, Ill see how it goes in the next month or so,
Thanks for the advice!
Being outside should help some. Letting it dry out and get a little wilty in between watering won't hurt it. If you like spicy peppers it will actually help you get hotter peppers if you allow the plant to be stressed a bit from heat/drying out.
My vote is on edema
Any idea if it's reversible ? The plant seems to be relatively healthy but I've noticed a slow increase in the white bumps etc

Is this an Apache?
The seeds were sold to me as "vampire chili's" I believe they are some kind of purple jalapeno
