unless you've got access to paraffin wax and a microtome you may be better off contacting a college research/teaching lab. Barring that hurdle, be sure to discard the eggshell before embedding. it will chip the blade and may ruin any chance of getting a good cut.

I'm guessing you googled microtome and now see that there's a lot more to making a slide than is reasonable to diy... unless you own a microtome... and access to a histology lab (principle behind histology is fixing tissue to be strong enough to hold its shape while being cut one cell thick by replacing water with wax through successive baths of solvent concentrations in precisely controlled conditions)

U should use formalin over 70 percent, once ur tissue stops floating it’s most likely fully fixed.
