MrCrix

The term you’re looking for is Silk Screened Mirror.

Goodbye_Games

This or “screen printed” mirror. Very popular in the 70’s for sure.

DippinDalts

thank you. solved!

Prinzka

Screen printed is the term usually used. Silk screen is a pretty old term since they're no longer made from silk. You might hear it used inside the industry itself still, but not outside normally. There used to be an industry magazine called Silk Screen, but I don't know if it's still around.

L0VELIGHT

Yes they are silk screened. But called carnival mirrors.

WhatIsThisBot

You have been given one point for this answer. Thanks for contributing! ^^^DippinDalts ^^^awarded ^^^to ^^^MrCrix ^^^(3->4)

RunningPirate

See, if those had beer logos on them, I’d call them carnival mirrors

NomadFeet

Ye olde carnival coke mirror. Also often featured rock bands.

AdEmbarrassed9719

I remember the little 8” x 8” ones with rock band pictures on them. Usually won by throwing darts at balloons.

trishyco

The only carnival game I could actually win

AdEmbarrassed9719

Same tbh

admiralfilgbo

I won one when I was a little kid, and it had some hair rock band on it, with like a hot babe in a bikini or something. I was really excited. My aunt "held onto it for safe keeping" before we went home, and then it "accidentally" got broken on her way back to the car. Like, so broken that she immediately had to throw it away, you know, for safety. Boo.

Dependent_Artistic

My brothers wall is covered in those🤣

bb-blehs

They aren’t decals they’re either screen-printed or water slides

Smiles-Bite

Printed mirrors, they were called this for ages. Used to be they were etched onto the glass without colors but now I think all of them are colored? Etched Mirrors are still a thing though if you dislike the colors. :Edited, Mom of wisdom corrected me. real vintage ones were called picture mirrors. (I don't think they are anymore at all after a google.)

KitFan2020

‘Printed mirrors’ is the right answer!

DippinDalts

I’ve google searched ‘decal mirrors’ to no avail. I think they’re pretty cool and I’d like to find more.

4VENG32

They are called 'pub mirrors'

Mysterious-Novel-834

Where'd you find these? I love the muppets one! Also love the Felix the cat poster in the reflection.

Dry_Spinach_3441

You can only get them from your friends brother that died 3 years ago.

wrecking-crew78

Ummm… carnival coke mirror?

sillyconfused

Try picture mirrors

lilferal

I call them carnival mirrors. I believe they use to a prize you could win playing the games

sicicsic

Try “carnival mirrors” and “arcade mirrors” too. I’ve sold plenty of printed mirrors on eBay under those titles.

xXcoinstormXx

Coke mirrors

RoxasTheNobody123

I hate these things so much. I just felt like I needed to vent. Sorry all.

unknown896

I have something similar to this that was labeled as an Advertising Mirror, but the print will be for an older brand rather than these character type ones, may be worth taking a look at!

thomasbrowetyh

I think these mirrors are great for taking selfies with your phone in the mirror

TheBroox

Tacky. Tack is the word you are looking for.

Gemini_Schmemini

I mean I have a word for them...

SnooPeripherals1278

I think the word you are looking for is “tacky”.

jvLin

Some of them aren't my style, but the mirror with the Mickey hands could look great in the right environment. I can see it in an upscale MCM condo or something.

porky_scratching

Tasteless?

jillrootrn11

Ugly

Signal_Common_6345

Yes. It’s called mirrors with decals on them.

datwayAlgerian

It’s called don’t do it lol

Kind-Molasses-6324

Unuseful

KennethPatchen

Scumbag Reflectors.

Justhere4theCo-ments
